El BOP de Alicante publica las mesas y locales electorales para noviembre

The Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante publishes this Monday, October 12, the complete list of sections, polling stations, and electoral venues for all municipalities in the province for the General Court elections of November 2026. Announcement 7823/2026, included in section I. Central Administration, is signed by the Provincial Delegation of the Electoral Census Office of Alicante, which depends on the National Statistics Institute. Voters have six days from this publication to file claims against the delimitation before the Provincial Electoral Board.

The document, consisting of 76 pages, organizes the information by municipality, district, section, subsection, table, and letter, adding in each case the assigned venue and its address. The announcement is dated in Alicante on October 8, 2026, and is signed by the provincial delegate of the Electoral Census Office, Nicolás Sánchez Campoy.

What announcement 7823/2026 contains

The publication reproduces the electoral census of the province table by table, so that each voter can locate their polling point before the date of the vote. The table opens with ATZÚBIA, L’ and goes through the municipalities in alphabetical order up to SAN ISIDRO, passing through towns of all sizes.

  • ATZÚBIA, L’: “Ausiàs March” Cultural Center, calle Puente 10.
  • AGOST: La Rambla Public School, avenida Alcoy 25.
  • AGRES and AIGÜES: House of Culture.
  • ALBATERA: C.P. Cervantes, C.P. Santiago Apóstol, C.P. Virgen del Rosario, and “Azahares” Occupational Center.
  • ALCOSSER and ALCOLEJA: the Town Hall itself.
  • ALCOI/ALCOY: AA. VV. Font Roja (portal 4).
  • ALACANT/ALICANTE: A.V.V. Complejo Vistahermosa, avenida Denia 140.
  • ELX/ELCHE: Porfirio Pascual Neighborhood Association, polígono Vinalopó 3.
  • TORREVIEJA: Age Concern Association, calle Paganini, urbanización La Siesta 1.
  • PILAR DE LA HORADADA: María Moliner School and 12 de Octubre Secondary Institute.
  • MONTESINOS (LOS): Virgen del Pilar Public School.
  • SAN ISIDRO: Civic and Social Center.

Claim period and census limits

The official text precisely establishes the temporal and territorial framework of the consultation:

  • The limits of the electoral sections are those established for the Electoral Census closed on August 1, 2026.
  • These limits can be consulted at the Electoral Census Office and in the town halls.
  • In the six days following this publication, voters may file claims against the delimitation carried out before the Provincial Electoral Board.
  • The claim process is supported by article 24 of the Organic Law of the General Electoral Regime.

With the publication on October 12, the deadline is extended until October 18, meaning that any voter who detects an error in their section, table, or polling station has one week to correct it before the census is definitively closed.

A census affecting the entire province

The list covers both large urban centers and small municipalities that concentrate their voting in a single location, as is the case in ATZÚBIA, L’, AGRES, AIGÜES, ALCALALÍ, ALCOSSER, and ALCOLEJA. In more populated municipalities, the table breaks down several districts and dozens of tables distributed among schools, institutes, social centers, and neighborhood association headquarters.

The publication thus fulfills the mandatory preliminary step of any electoral process: publicizing the division into sections and tables so that the electorate can verify their assignment. The Electoral Census Office reminds that the consultation of the boundaries is open both in its offices and in the town halls.

For citizens, the announcement is the practical reference that determines where they will vote next November and which table they must go to. For the town halls, it represents the confirmation of the locations they must enable and equip on voting day. Any claim submitted outside the six-day period will not be admitted, therefore the date of October 18 marks the actual limit for correcting the published delimitation.
