El Bonillo subvenciona con 3.000 euros la compra de instrumentos musicales

The El Bonillo City Council has announced grants totaling 3,000 euros for the acquisition of musical instruments intended for active members of the Municipal Music Band and students of the local Municipal Music School. The summary of the call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete, number 126, corresponding to Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in the third section (Local Administration), starting on page 49. The call is identified in the National Grants Database with number 937700.

The call, referring to the 2026 fiscal year, is supported by the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Grants, which requires the publication of a summary of the rules and the call in the corresponding official gazette. The regulatory bases are Resolution 1081, of October 23, 2026, registered under number N-SEGRA 953470. The announcement appears signed in El Bonillo on October 26, 2026, by the mayor, Juan Gil Gutiérrez, on behalf of the Most Excellent City Council of El Bonillo.

Up to 500 euros per instrument

The financial allocation of the call is 3,000 euros. The granted aid may not exceed 50% of the acquisition cost of the instrument, with a maximum ceiling of 500 euros per instrument.

In this way, the Council shares the expense with the musician: the grant covers a maximum of half the price, and the beneficiary must assume the remainder of the amount.

  • Total allocation of the call: 3,000 euros.
  • Maximum subsidizable percentage: 50% of the cost of the instrument.
  • Maximum amount per instrument: 500 euros.
  • Fiscal year of the call: 2026.

Requirements and beneficiaries

Active members of the El Bonillo Municipal Music Band and students of the El Bonillo Municipal Music School may apply for the aid, with preference given to the former. Interested parties may act in their own name or be represented, in the case of minors.

Applicants must meet three conditions:

  • Pay, at minimum, 50% of the acquisition cost of the instrument.
  • Not have been a beneficiary of aid granted in previous calls for the same purpose.
  • Not fall under the circumstances of sections 2 and 3 of article 13 of Law 38/2003 and comply with the obligations of article 14 of the same regulation, via a responsible declaration included in Annex II.

The declared purpose is the acquisition of instruments for use by band members and school students within said institutions. The call allows for the subsidizing of purchases made from January 1, 2021, until the date of the application, which opens the door to regularizing acquisitions already made by the musicians.

Ten business days deadline

The application period is ten business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete, that is, from October 29, 2026. This is a brief window, which requires interested parties to prepare the documentation in advance.

The full text of the call, including the regulatory bases, is available on the electronic notice board of the El Bonillo City Council.

Support for the local musical fabric

The call provides economic reinforcement to the two training and outreach music structures in El Bonillo—the band and the municipal school—in a context where the cost of an instrument represents a significant expense for families and for the performers themselves. The limit of 500 euros per instrument and the 50% co-financing place the aid in the realm of purchasing individual-use instruments, rather than large equipment.

For local musicians, the main novelty is the partial retroactive nature of the eligible expenditure: those who have acquired their instrument at any time since January 1, 2021, may apply for the aid. The condition of not having previously received a grant for the same purpose concentrates the distribution among new beneficiaries.
