Por FactBox Admin

The Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz publishes this Monday, October 12, 2026, the complete list of polling stations and electoral venues for the 45 municipalities of Cádiz for the 2026 elections to the Congress of Deputies and the Senate. The announcement is signed by the Electoral Census Office of Cádiz, which reports to the National Statistics Institute and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise, and occupies pages 2 to 16 of issue number 196 of the gazette, with the official reference No. 347,320. The list allows each voter in the province to identify their corresponding district, section, polling station, and venue.
The document is headed as “List of polling stations and electoral venues” of the province of Cádiz and is inserted in Section I, State Administration, under the heading of the Electoral Census Office of Cádiz. The publication is organized by the official code of each municipality and details, station by station, the information necessary to locate the voting point.
The list covers the entire provincial territory, from Alcalá de los Gazules to Zahara, and incorporates both large urban centers as well as hamlets, neighborhoods, and rural villages that have their own polling station.
What data each station includes
The list is presented in the form of a table with eight columns, which identify each voting point:
- Municipality, district, and electoral section.
- Polling station and sub-station, with the letter or range of surnames assigned to each.
- Name of the electoral venue.
- Full address of the venue and postal code.
The 45 municipalities and their venues
The publication includes the 45 municipalities of the province, ordered by their official code:
- Alcalá de los Gazules, Alcalá del Valle, Algar, Algeciras, Algodonales, Arcos de la Frontera, Barbate, Los Barrios, Benaocaz, Bornos, El Bosque, Cádiz, Castellar de la Frontera, Conil de la Frontera, Chiclana de la Frontera, Chipiona, Espera, El Gastor, Grazalema, Jerez de la Frontera, Jimena de la Frontera, La Línea de la Concepción, Medina Sidonia, Olvera, Paterna de Rivera, Prado del Rey, El Puerto de Santa María, Puerto Real, Puerto Serrano, Rota, San Fernando, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, San Roque, Setenil de las Bodegas, Tarifa, Torre Alháquime, Trebujena, Ubrique, Vejer de la Frontera, Villaluenga del Rosario, Villamartín and Zahara.
- At the end of the list appear Benalup-Casas Viejas, San José del Valle and San Martín del Tesorillo, with their own coding.
The venues are mostly educational centers, but municipal facilities and institutional headquarters also appear:
- In Cádiz, the National University of Distance Education, the Cádiz Contemporary Culture Space, the Provincial Council of Cádiz, the Municipal Historical Museum, and the Faculty of Medicine are listed.
- In Jerez de la Frontera, the Wine Palace, the Post Office Building, and the I.E.S. “Padre Luís Coloma”, among others, are enabled.
- In Algeciras, the Florida Theater and the José L. Cano Foundation (former Civil Hospital) are mentioned.
- In El Puerto de Santa María, the “José Luís Tejada” Institute, the “La Salle” School, and the APEMSA headquarters appear.
- In smaller centers, unique spaces are used, such as the Ornithological Center and the “Mesón de Sancho” Hotel Restaurant in Tarifa, the Costa Ballena Intermodal Station and the Food Market in Rota, or the Aqualia Company and URTASA in Tarifa.
How the consultation is organized
Each table is identified by the combination of district, section, and letter, so that the same venue can house several tables. This is the case, for example, with the C.E.I.P. “Constitución” in San Fernando, with tables A, B, and C, or the “Juventud” Public School in Jerez de la Frontera, with tables A, B, and C at the same address.
The publication also distinguishes venues located in neighborhoods and hamlets, such as La Barrosa and Sancti Petri in Chiclana de la Frontera, Zahara de los Atunes and Zahora in Barbate, or Facinas, Tahivilla, and La Zarzuela in Tarifa.
With this publication, any voter in the province can check in advance at which table and venue they are assigned to vote in the 2026 Congress and Senate elections, without needing to wait for voting day. The Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz thus acts as the official dissemination channel for the electoral organization in the 45 municipalities of Cádiz.
