El Bohodón puts the bar of its Social Center out to tender

The City Council of El Bohodón has called for the award of the private use concession of the bar located in the town’s Social Center through an open procedure, according to the agreement adopted by the Municipal Plenary in an extraordinary session held on September 10, 2026. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila number 177, dated September 14, 2026, under file number 1828/26.

The processing of the file corresponds to the Secretariat of the City Council, and documentation and information can be obtained at the municipal offices at calle Pinar, 1, El Bohodón. The deadline for submitting bids is fifteen business days starting from the publication of the announcement in the BOP, via sealed envelope.

Object and conditions of the concession

The object of the contract is the private use concession of the Social Center bar, with a duration of two years, extendable for one more. The monthly fee will be that determined in the economic offer presented by the successful bidder, and the winner must pay a provisional deposit of 700 euros upon formalization of the contract.

Bids must be submitted to the Registry of the City Council of El Bohodón, during the hours of Monday from 8:30 to 12:30 and Wednesday from 18:00 to 20:00. For additional information, the telephone number 920-267230 and the email elbohodon@yahoo.es are provided.

Requirements for applicants

Natural and legal persons who meet the following requirements within the application submission period may apply for the concession:

Be of legal age.
Be up to date with the payment of municipal tax obligations, as well as with the Tax Agency and Social Security.
Have civil liability and theft insurance covering the value of the leased furnishings, which will be communicated at the start of the activity.

Award criteria

The evaluation of the bids will be carried out according to four weighted criteria:

Economic offer (base of 80 euros), up to 25 points: 25 points are awarded to the bidder with the highest offer, with the rest distributed proportionally using the rule of three.
Experience in the hospitality sector, up to 15 points: 2 points per year worked and 1 point per six-month fraction, accredited by a work history report and contract.
Increase in opening days over the mandatory minimums, up to 40 points: 10 points for 20 additional days, 20 for 30 additional days, and 40 for 60 additional days.
Organization of leisure activities for residents, up to 20 points: 20 points if held once a month, 10 every two months, and 5 every three months.

In the event of a tie, preference will be given to the first criterion, the economic offer. The announcement is signed by the mayor-president, Héctor Rodríguez Herráez, in El Bohodón, on September 10, 2026.

The tender opens the door for an individual or company to manage a neighborhood facility key to the social life of the municipality, while guaranteeing the City Council a monthly fee and greater cultural and leisure activity for the inhabitants of El Bohodón.
