The BOCYL publishes the assets of the Junta's high-ranking officials

The Junta de Castilla y León has made public the declarations of assets, property rights, and obligations of its high-ranking officials at the start of the XII legislature. The General Secretariat of the Ministry of the Presidency ordered their publication via a resolution dated September 15, 2026, disseminated in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 182, dated September 18, 2026, with the reference BOCYL-D-18092026-182-25. The documents, declared before a notary, detail real estate, bank accounts, securities, vehicles, and loans of each member of the regional Executive.

The publication responds to the mandate of article 21.1 of Law 3/2016, of November 30, regarding the Statute of High-Ranking Officials of the Administration of the Community of Castilla y León, which requires these declarations to be disseminated both on the Junta’s Open Government Portal and in the BOCYL. According to the text, once the XII legislature began and the members of the Junta were appointed, they completed their declarations “with the contents determined by the General Inspectorate of Services,” in accordance with the fifth additional provision of the aforementioned law.

The resolution is issued by virtue of the powers of article 13.2.a) of Decree 10/2026, of June 29, which establishes the organic structure of the Ministry of the Presidency, and was signed in Valladolid on September 15, 2026, by the general secretary, Santiago Fernández Martín. The annex containing the declared data occupies pages 113 to 127 of the gazette.

Twelve declarations with their dates

The annex includes the declarations of the twelve members of the regional Executive, along with the date each appeared before a notary:

• Alfonso Fernando Fernández Mañueco, president of the Junta de Castilla y León: 06/30/2026.
• Carlos Pollán Fernández, first vice president and minister of Deregulation, Family, and Social Aid: 07/28/2026.
• María Isabel Blanco Llamas, second vice president: 07/17/2026.
• Luis Miguel González Gago, minister of the Presidency: 07/10/2026.
• Carlos Javier Amando Fernández Carriedo, minister of Economy and Finance: 07/17/2026.
• Juan Carlos Suárez-Quiñones Fernández, minister of Industry, Universities, Employment, and Trade: 07/30/2026.
• María González Corral, minister of Environment and Energy: 07/31/2026.
• Cristina Sanchidrián Blázquez, minister of Mobility, Digital Transformation, and AI: 06/24/2026.
• Joaquín Antonio Pino, minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Environment, and Environmental Policy: 08/11/2026.

Real estate, accounts, and mortgage debt

The declared assets combine homes, commercial premises, garages, and rural estates, in many cases with shared ownership. Among the highest cadastral values are the home of Cristina Sanchidrián in Ávila (277,329.02 euros at 50%), that of José Alberto Díaz Pico in Valladolid (269,815 euros at 50%), that of María Pardo Álvarez in Simancas (251,822 euros), and that of Alejandro Vázquez Ramos in Burgos (224,282.81 euros at 50%). Juan Carlos Suárez-Quiñones declares a home in León worth 144,473.32 euros and numerous rural plots in the same province.

Regarding bank balances, the 407,074 euros declared by Alejandro Vázquez Ramos, the 397,132 euros in a savings account belonging to Luis Miguel González Gago, and the 141,452 euros of María Isabel Blanco Llamas stand out. The highest credit burden corresponds to Cristina Sanchidrián, with a loan of 350,000 euros with Caixabank, followed by Alfonso Fernández Mañueco (193,869.08 euros in a mortgage loan with Banco de Santander) and María González Corral (154,000 euros with Santander).

Vehicles, pension plans, and companies

The vehicles section includes family-use cars, such as the president’s 2009 BMW 530XD and 2024 Audi Q3, Carlos Pollán’s BMW X2 1.8D, María Isabel Blanco Llamas’s Mercedes C 180, or Luis Miguel González Gago’s Volvo S-60. Carlos Javier Amando Fernández Carriedo declares three automobiles, including a VW T-ROC acquired in 2026.

Pension plans, insurance, and funds complete the declarations: Luis Miguel González Gago totals 56,689.47 euros in a Banco Santander plan; Alejandro Vázquez Ramos, 65,996 euros with Ocaso Seguros; and María Pardo Álvarez, 23,493.44 euros with Mapfre. Cristina Sanchidrián is the only one who details business holdings, with 29.60% of Hersan Energy 2010 SL (27,030 euros) and 33.33% of Gestión de Inversiones (60,000 euros), in addition to 699,259.52 euros in managed portfolios at Caixabank.

The dissemination of this data allows citizens to contrast the assets and financial obligations of those holding the positions of greatest responsibility in the regional Administration, an exercise in transparency that regulations reserve for the start of each legislature and which is now accessible both in the official gazette and on the open government portal.
