The regulatory bases were initially approved by the Plenary of the Bages County Council on July 27, 2026, and were definitively approved by Presidential Decree 2026/552, of September 3, 2026, published in the provincial gazette on September 10, 2026. An allocation of 187,451.88 euros
The maximum budget allocated to subsidies this year is 187,451.88 euros, charged to budget application 231.3.489.01. The amount of each grant is calculated taking into account the cost of the service from December of the previous year to November of the calendar year of the call.

Who can apply for the grants
Three types of beneficiaries can opt for the subsidies:
- Natural persons over 18 years of age with reduced mobility and/or a need for accompaniment, registered in municipalities of fewer than 20,000 inhabitants in the Bages region.
- Local entities of the Bages Basic Social Services Area that organize the service through collective transport.
- Day centers for the elderly and specialized centers for people with disabilities that organize this collective transport.
In the case of natural persons, they must have a recognized disability and exceed the reduced mobility scale; those who do not have it may apply under the companion’s scale. Elderly people using a day center without either of these scales may access it if they have a specific diagnosis of dementia, and people with a resolution of degree of dependency or with a permanent disability pension in the degree of total, absolute, or severe disability are also admitted. Additionally, they must have a recognized place in a specialized social service of the public network.
Maximum amounts and calculation of the subsidy
The amounts vary according to the means of transport and the type of beneficiary:
- Own vehicle: up to 600 euros, at a rate of 0.19 euros per kilometer up to 1,315 km annually and 0.095 euros per kilometer plus 125 euros from 1,315.01 km onwards.
- Collective transport or taxi: up to 60% of the justified cost, with a maximum of 1,100 euros.
- Entities and city councils that organize the service: up to 60%, with a maximum of 15,000 euros.
- Entities and city councils with individual social aid or transport agreements: up to 60%, with a maximum of 7,500 euros.
- Entities and city councils that share the taxi cost with the user: up to 60%, with a maximum of 9,000 euros.
Excluded are trips in own vehicles when transport from the center or the local entity can be used, those that do not exceed 200 annual kilometers, grants with a resulting amount of less than 30 euros, and cases covered by other programs with the same purpose, such as the PUA aid.
Admitted services and resolution
The grants cover transport to day care services such as day centers for the elderly, comprehensive care for elderly people in rural areas, specialized day care centers for people with disabilities, occupational therapy services (STO), occupational insertion centers (SOI), social clubs, pre-employment services, and assimilated centers with day care functions.
The award will be made before the end of December and will be resolved in a single administrative act, published on the notice board of the Consell Comarcal del Bages. Payment will be made once the corporation has received the subsidy from the Generalitat, as the execution period is subject to the Program Contract with the Department of Social Rights and Inclusion. Application forms and further information are available on the website tadaptat.ccbages.cat.
The call provides financial coverage for an essential service so that elderly people and people with disabilities from small municipalities in Bages can travel to day care centers and maintain their integration into the environment. With 187,451.88 euros at stake and a deadline of only fifteen days, the city councils and entities of the region have until November 16 to process the applications of the users.
