The City Council of Cabra appoints five career civil servants.

Por FactBox Admin

The Cabra City Council has publicized the appointments of five new career civil servants: three administrative officers in General Administration (group/subgroup C1) and two administrative assistants (group/subgroup C2). The announcements appear in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, issue 156, of August 13, 2026, in the Local Administration section, and are signed by the mayor, Fernando Priego Chacón.

The five appointments fall on vacant positions in the civil service staff roster of the Egabrense City Council. The publication complies with the requirements of article 62.1.b) of the consolidated text of the Basic Statute of Public Employees, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, which requires the appointments of career civil servants to be inserted in the corresponding official gazette.

The first of the announcements (official reference BOP-A-2026-2759) includes three resolutions from the Mayor’s Office adopted between May and June; the second (BOP-A-2026-2766) derives from a single Mayor’s Office Resolution, number 2026/3436, of August 3, 2026.

Three administrative officers (C1) have already taken office

Through announcement BOP-A-2026-2759, the City Council communicates the appointments as career civil servants in positions of Administrative Officer in General Administration, group/subgroup C1, in favor of:

  • Antonio Javier Arana Arrebola, appointed by Resolution 2026/2320, of May 28, 2026.
  • Piedad Ariza Expósito, appointed by Resolution 2026/2333, of May 29, 2026.
  • Isabel María Moreno Romero, appointed by Resolution 2026/2344, of June 1, 2026.

According to the official notice, the three appointees have taken office in their positions on June 26, 2026.

Two administrative assistants (C2) with a one-month deadline

Announcement BOP-A-2026-2766 reports the appointments as career civil servants in positions of Administrative Assistant, group/subgroup C2, agreed by Mayor’s Office Resolution 2026/3436, of August 3, 2026, in favor of:

  • Silvia María Alcalá Jiménez.
  • José Luis Güeto Sánchez.

In this case, the interested parties must take office within one month, counted from the day following the notification of their respective appointments.

Consolidation of stable public employment

With these five incorporations, the Cabra City Council makes definitive the coverage of as many vacant positions on its staff roster: the status of career civil servant entails stable access to the municipal public service, as opposed to the temporary or interim arrangements that had previously occupied these positions. The official notices, dated in Cabra on August 3, 2026, include the secure verification code that allows their authenticity to be checked.

The consolidation of these five posts strengthens the administrative structure of the City Council in two of its usual levels: the administrative body, responsible for the management and processing of files, and the auxiliary body, supporting municipal services.
