The Córdoba City Council publishes the provisional list of Archive Assistants

The Córdoba City Council has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the call to fill 2 permanent positions as Archive Assistant, through the open competitive examination system. The resolution was issued by the Deputy Mayor Delegated for Human Resources and Occupational Health via Decree No. 2026/16074, dated September 18, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 190, dated October 1, 2026, in section VI (Local Administration), pages 14159 to 14161, with official reference BOP-A-2026-3200 and file OE-37/22.

The positions are included in the 2022 public employment offer. The full rules governing the process were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 138, dated July 18, 2025, and were approved by Decree No. 2025/10418, dated July 11, 2025. The call was subsequently announced in the Official State Gazette number 24, dated January 27, 2026, which opened a twenty-business-day application period; this period ended on February 24, 2026.

430 admitted and 39 excluded

The annex of the resolution contains the complete nominal list of participants, ordered alphabetically and with the NIF or NIE partially hidden for data protection:

• Admitted applicants: 430.
• Excluded applicants: 39.

The reasons for exclusion are formal in nature and are repeated in most cases:

• Failure to pay the full fee, with a pending amount of 10.53 euros.
• Failure to prove the reason for the alleged exemption, as it is a non-intermediated exemption.
• Failure to provide the application on the specific form.
• Failure to present a valid identification document or having an expired DNI.
• Failure to justify representation.

The qualifying tribunal

The composition of the selection body was designated via Decree No. 2026/15992, dated September 17, 2026, and is composed of personnel from the Córdoba City Council and the Regional Government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucía):

• Presidency: M. Carmen Oria Ratia, Head of the Archive Department, as titular, and Dolores Muñoz Muñoz, Technical Advisor to the Delegation of Culture and Historical Heritage, as substitute.
• Members: Cándida Soria Montero and Carmen López Larrubia; Gloria Coronil Romero and Eva M. Herrero Vizuete; Ana Chacón Sánchez-Molina and Miguel Ángel Sánchez Herrador; Pedro Alcaina Beltrán and Mª Mar Ibáñez Camacho.
• Secretariat: M. Gema Ventosa Arias, Technician of the Selection Department, as titular, and Rocío Corro Castillejo, Head of the Selection Unit, as substitute.

Correction period and first exercise

Applicants who have not been admitted or have been omitted have a period of ten days, starting from the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, to remedy the defect that led to their exclusion or their lack of express inclusion.

The resolution also summons the admitted applicants to the first exercise of the competitive examination:

• Date: November 7, 2026.
• Time: 09:30 hours.
• Location: Faculty of Medicine and Nursing, Avenida Menéndez Pidal s/n, Córdoba.
• Requirements: bring a pen and ID (DNI), or driver’s license or passport.

The edict is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, on the Electronic Edict Board of the Córdoba City Council (sede.cordoba.es) and, for information purposes, in the “Call Consultation” section of the Electronic Office. The document was signed in Córdoba on September 21, 2026, by the Head of the Selection Department, Soledad Fernández Abella.

The publication opens the decisive phase of the selection process: the 39 excluded applicants now have one last opportunity to correct their situation before the list becomes final, while the 430 admitted applicants already know the date, time, and place of the first exercise, which will mark the effective start of the tests for the 2 Archive Assistant positions.
