The Badajoz City Council hires five sports instructors from the FMD
Por FactBox Admin

The Badajoz City Council has resolved to hire five people as Sports Monitor/s for the Municipal Sports Foundation (FMD) to carry out their internship period, effective from October 29, 2026. The decision is formalized through a hiring decree and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz on November 3, 2026, in Announcement 4316/2026, within the Local Administration section.
The decree and its processing
The decree is issued based on the hiring proposal of October 19, 2026, formulated by the President of the Selection Board of the call, and has the favorable report of the Funds Audit Office dated October 27, 2026. The resolution further confirms that the documentation submitted by the interested parties is compliant.
The framework of the call is as follows:
- Five positions for Sports Monitor/s of the FMD of the Badajoz City Council.
- Status of permanent seasonal labor personnel.
- Selection system: open competitive examination.
- Special Administration scale, group C, subgroup C1, of the municipal Labor Personnel Job Relationship.
The approved hiring corresponds to the internship period, that is, the third phase of the municipal selection process, and the decree expressly orders its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz for the appropriate purposes.
The five hired candidates
The hired individuals, identified in the announcement by their surnames and first name, are:
- Álvarez Álvarez, Yolanda.
- Núñez Viera, Alejandro.
- Bas Moreno, Iván.
- Móralo Serrano, Raquel.
- Magro Murillo, Miguel Ángel.
The announcement does not reproduce the full National Identity Document of the selected persons: in application of Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights, only the last four digits of each candidate’s identification document are published, accompanied by the control letter.
Who signs and with what authorization
The decree is signed in Badajoz by the Fourth Deputy Mayor, Eladio Buzo Corzo, acting by delegation of the Mayor. The authorization derives from the Decree of February 2, 2024, published in BOP Badajoz number 28, of February 8, which is expressly stated at the bottom of the announcement along with the date of the digital signature.
The publication in the provincial gazette closes the administrative processing of the hiring and provides official publicity to the result, a mandatory step so that the selected persons can join their positions and so that the selection process is formally closed.
Impact for the candidates and for the sports programming
For the five selected candidates, the decree entails the effective commencement of the internship period as of October 29, 2026, a preliminary step toward consolidation as permanent seasonal staff. For those who participated in the call without being awarded a position, the publication defines the moment from which the process is considered resolved and opens the way for any corresponding appeals against the resolution.
At the municipal level, the filling of these five group C1 positions at the Municipal Sports Foundation directly impacts the organization’s capacity to manage municipal sports programming, given the permanent seasonal status of the positions, which is linked to specific periods of activity throughout the year. Furthermore, the hiring takes place in a fiscal year during which the FMD has processed budgetary modifications, including the credit supplement file 020/2026/1 FMD, approved by the Plenary Council on July 23, 2026.
