Educación y concertada pactan subidas salariales hasta 240,26 euros mensuales

The Official Gazette of Extremadura publishes this Thursday, November 5, 2026, the Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and the employers’ and trade union organizations of Extremaduran subsidized education for the maintenance of educational quality and remuneration levels. The pact was signed on October 21, 2026, in Mérida and reaches the bulletin via the Resolution of October 28, 2026, of the General Secretariat, with reference RCN202600292 (2026062756).

The regulatory framework of the agreement

The text is based on the first section of the fourth additional provision of Law 2/2026, of August 3, on the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura for 2026, which empowers the Regional Government of Extremadura to update regional salary supplements. The path of increases replicates that set by Royal Decree-Law 14/2025, of December 2, on urgent measures for the public sector: 2.5% effective from January 1, 2025, and 1.5% from January 1, 2026, applicable to the subsidized education modules pursuant to article 2.4.

The agreement replaces the previous one, dated May 15, 2025, which had expired, and is justified by the principle of remunerative analogy and the mandate of article 104 of Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education.

From 182.88 to 240.26 euros in fourteen payments

The improvement is structured around two regional concepts and applies to teaching staff under the delegated payment regime of subsidized centers:

  • Regional Supplement: increases from 182.88 euros per month to 187.45 euros in 2025 (2.5%) and to 190.26 euros in 2026 (1.5%), both in fourteen monthly payments.
  • Additional increase of 26.278%: over the previous amount, raising the Regional Supplement to 240.26 euros per month effective from January 1, 2026.
  • Specific Supplement for Subsidized Education: updated by the same percentages, and its amounts appear in Annexes I and II of the Agreement, paid in monthly installments and extraordinary payments.
  • Part-time work: the amounts correspond to full-time work and are accrued proportionally in the case of shorter working hours.

The economic effects are retroactive: the 2.5% is retroactive to January 1, 2025, and the 1.5% to January 1, 2026.

Accident insurance and monitoring commission

The Agreement incorporates into the contribution base of the General Regime the amounts of the individual accident insurance for teaching staff, updated by the same percentages, for centers that choose to subscribe to or maintain them. The Regional Administration will not assume the cost of the premiums, only the social security contributions, and the Provincial Delegations will maintain an updated record of those amounts.

Additionally, a joint Monitoring, Interpretation, and Control Commission is created, composed of the educational Administration and a representative from each signing organization. It will meet at least once a year as an ordinary session and, extraordinarily, at the request of any of the parties, within a maximum period of seven business days.

Signatories and validity

The agreement is signed by the counselor Sandra Victoria Valencia Ramos and the representatives of the sector’s employers’ associations and unions: Elvira Bravo Donaire (CECE), Juan Ignacio Poyatos Martínez (FERE-CECA), Francisco Javier García Villar (EyG), M.ª Isabel Rojo Medina (UCETAEX), Pedro González Corraliza (FSIE), and Juan Manuel Jiménez Sánchez (UGT-SP).

The text enters into force the day after its signing and its validity extends until December 31, 2026, with a maximum tacit extension of six months unless replaced by a new one. Compliance with economic obligations is subject to the existence of adequate and sufficient budgetary credit.

The publication closes a latent conflict in a sector that sustains a relevant part of the Extremaduran educational network: the consolidated increase of nearly 60 euros per month in the Autonomous Supplement directly affects the teaching staff of subsidized centers and, by extension, the stability of the conditions under which families choose a center.
