Educación premia a cinco alumnos de secundaria para adultos del curso 2025-2026

The Official Gazette of Cantabria publishes this Thursday, November 5, the Extraordinary Awards for Secondary Education for Adults for the 2025-2026 academic year in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. The Department of Education, Vocational Training and Universities makes the awards public through the Resolution of October 29, 2026, of its General Secretariat, which reports the prizes granted by the counselor’s resolution of October 27, 2026. The announcement appears in section 6 of grants and aid of BOC number 213, with the official reference CVE-2026-8586.

Five winners and 2,000 euros in funding

The awards are financed with a total amount of 2,000.00 euros, corresponding to 400.00 gross euros for each of the five winners. The expenditure is charged to the budgetary application 09.05.324A.482.23 of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the year 2026.

The call was made through Order EDU/32/2026, from the Department of Education, Vocational Training and Universities, whose extract was published in the BOC on September 1, 2026. The management of the awards corresponds to the General Directorate of Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning.

The winners, center by center

Annex I of the resolution details the five awards granted, with the file code, the center, the student, and the score obtained:

  • 2026PPA0001 — María Pilar Barroso Crespo, from CEPA Escuelas Verdes (Santander): 73.7 points.
  • 2026PPA0002 — Yolanda López Fernández, from CEPA Caligrama: 71.1 points.

  • 2026PPA0005 — Elizabeth Aday Cantero, from CEPA Escuelas Verdes (Santander): 67.5 points.

The list also identifies each student by their DNI or NIE, which the gazette publishes partially hidden for data protection. Four of the five recognitions go to students from CEPA Escuelas Verdes in Santander, while CEPA Caligrama adds one award.

Deadlines for appeal

The resolution is agreed upon in compliance with the functions attributed to the General Secretariat in article 70.2 of Law 5/2018, of November 22, on the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Institutional Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria.

An optional appeal for reversal may be filed against the agreement before the Councilor for Education, Vocational Training, and Universities within one month from the day following its publication. Alternatively, it may be challenged directly before the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdictional Order within two months. The document is signed in Santander by the general secretary, Marina Rugama Guerrero.

A recognition of the effort of lifelong learning

The Extraordinary Secondary Education Awards for Adults distinguish the performance of students who resume or complete their studies within the network of adult education centers in Cantabria. The official publication closes the procedure for the 2025-2026 academic year and provides legal certainty to both the five awarded students and the centers that nominated them, whose work is recognized in an educational stage that is often less visible than ordinary education. The amount, modest but symbolic, is paid from the 2026 regional budgets and is now subject to the usual appeal deadlines.
