Education appoints new directors in three private schools in the country

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology recognized three new directors of private educational centers located in San Miguel, Sonsonate, and La Libertad, through Agreements Nos. 15-1268, 15-1639, and 15-1693. The decision is published in the Official Gazette, Volume No. 452, Number 180, from Tuesday, September 29, 2026, on pages 20 and 21, and affects educational communities in three departments of the country.

The three agreements were issued by the Executive Branch in the Field of Education, Science and Technology, based on favorable resolutions from the Management of Academic Management and Registry of the General Directorate of Education. The appointment corresponds to the private educational center Centro Cultural Salvadoreño Americano de San Miguel, with infrastructure code No. 21440.

Agreement No. 15-1639/2026 recognizes Professor Roberto Carlos Martínez Hernández as director, according to resolution No. 119-08-2026-21074, dated August 19, 2026. The beneficiary center is the Instituto Técnico de Educación Múltiple “Coronel Ciriaco de Jesús Alas”, with infrastructure code No. 21074.

Agreement No. 15-1693/2026 recognizes Professor Carolina del Pilar Gálvez de Romero as director, in accordance with resolution No. 115-08-2026-21371, dated August 13, 2026. The appointment corresponds to the “Profesora Angela Pineda Altamirano” School, with infrastructure code No. 21371.

In the same edition, Agreement No. 15-1461/2026 authorizes the change of address of the same school to the aforementioned address, with Basic Education for 7th, 8th, and 9th grades and Secondary Education for General Baccalaureate and Productive Technical Education in Health and Social Welfare, both in the daytime shift.

Process and Scope of Appointments

The three recognitions follow the same procedure: the General Directorate of Education, through its Academic Management and Registry Office, verifies the file and issues a favorable resolution; subsequently, the Executive Branch in the Field of Education formalizes the appointment by agreement and orders its publication. In all three cases, the professional identification number of each teacher in the Educators’ Salary Scale Registry is recorded, a requirement that supports the exercise of the directorial position.
