The Department of Education, Science, Universities and Vocational Training announces mobility grants from the Erasmus+ program for students of basic and intermediate level vocational training cycles from public centers integrated into the consortium of project 2025-1-ES01-KA121-VET-000332915, with multi-annual funding of 642,768.00 euros. The call, processed under procedure code ED322B, is published in the Official Gazette of Galicia number 210 of November 3, 2026, through the Order of October 22, 2026, which establishes the regulatory bases and opens the application period for the 2026/27 academic year. The text is signed by Manuel Vila López, technical general secretary of the department, by delegation of the head of the department (Order of 5.6.2024).
The framework: an Erasmus+ project extended until May 2027
The call is based on Regulation (EU) No 2021/817, which establishes the Erasmus+ program for the 2021-2027 period, and on Organic Law 3/2022, of March 31, on the organization and integration of vocational training, which addresses the internationalization of the system in its Title IX. In the Galician scope, it links with Decree 20/2026, of March 9, on the general organization of vocational training, and with the Galicia VET Strategy 2030, approved by the Council of the Xunta on February 10, 2022.
The department is a beneficiary of project 2025-1-ES01-KA121-VET-000332915, under key action 1 for mobility for learning purposes in the field of vocational training. The Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE) authorized on May 29, 2026, the extension of the execution period from 15 to 24 months, such that the funded mobilities must end, at the latest, by May 31, 2027.
Nearly 650,000 euros in two annual installments
The funding is distributed on a multi-annual basis and charged to the general budgets of the Autonomous Community:
- 2026: 32,138.00 euros.
- 2027: 610,630.00 euros.
- Budget application: 07.04.422M.480.5.
- The amount may be increased if adequate and sufficient credit exists, in accordance with article 31.2 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies in Galicia.
The grants will be paid directly to the students in two payments: a first of 80% before the start of the mobility and a second of 20% after the activity, conditional upon the submission of the supplement to the learning agreement and the justification of inclusion expenses. The justification deadline for the 2026 installment ends on December 19, 2026.
Who can apply and how
Those enrolled in the 2026/27 academic year in a basic or intermediate level cycle, or in an intermediate level specialization course, in any of the centers listed in Annex I, and in a position to carry out a period of company training before the mobility, may apply; also those who obtained the qualification in any of those centers in the twelve months prior to the end of the planned mobility.
- The application (Annex II) must be submitted in person at the educational center, together with the complementary documentation.
- The deadline is one month starting from the day following the publication of the order, therefore extending until December 4, 2026.
- Depending on the case, the self-assessment (Annex III), the ecological travel commitment (Annex IV), mobility data (Annex V), the inclusion expenses table (Annex VI), and language certificates, among other documents, are required.
- The consortium includes 80 public centers, including IES Ordes, IES Politécnico de Vigo, CIFP Someso, CIFP A Farixa, CIFP Compostela, and CIFP Ferrolterra.

Places not awarded due to lack of credit will form a waiting list, and resignation without justified cause makes it impossible to participate in other Erasmus+ projects of the consortium for two years.
Impact for families
The call opens the possibility for vocational training students from public centers to do internships abroad with European aid, with an amount that can cover travel, maintenance, and specific support in situations of vulnerability. In addition to the announcement of the order, the DOG publishes the extract of the call, with BDNS (Identif.) number 939151, which allows the full text to be consulted in the National Database of Subsidies.
