Edistribución renovates the Mora power line in Mora de Rubielos

The Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel publishes this September 10, 2026, in issue number 173, two announcements from the Teruel Provincial Service of the Department of Economy, Competitiveness and Employment of the General Deputation of Aragon, whereby the request for prior administrative and construction authorization for two reforms of the “Mora” medium-voltage line is submitted for public information. The files, promoted by Edistribución Redes Digitales SLU (holder B82846817), respond to the impact on the line caused by the new layout of the A-228 and A-232 roads in the municipality of Mora de Rubielos.

Both procedures are initiated in accordance with Article 125 of Royal Decree 1955/2000, of December 1, which regulates the activities of transport, distribution, marketing, supply, and the authorization procedures for electrical energy installations. The projects are classified as NER installations financed by third parties and have a combined budget of 69,743.72 euros.

Two sections of the “Mora” line to be reformed

The first file, TE-SP-ENE-AT-2026-008 (announcement 2026-2590), affects the section between existing supports no. 1 and no. 5 of the line, in rural polygons 28 and 7, due to the impact of the new layout of the A-228 road. The second, TE-SP-ENE-AT-2026-010 (announcement 2026-2591), comprises the section between supports no. 110 and no. 105, in rural polygons 30 and 31, due to the impact of the A-232 road.

The technical characteristics of each reform are as follows:

• File 2026-008: voltage of 20 kV, conductor 94-AL1/22-ST1A, aerial length of 447.7 m (201.82 m with LA-110 conductor and 245.88 m with retensioned LA-78), five supports (three to be replaced) and three new metallic supports of types C-2000-18 TR2 and C-3000-20 TR. Budget: €34,845.70.
• File 2026-010: voltage of 20 kV, conductor 94-AL1/22-ST1A, aerial length of 672.92 m (386.05 m with LA-110 and 286.87 m with retensioned LA-78), six supports (four to be replaced) and four new supports of types C-4500-20, C-7000-22 and C-4500-18. Budget: €34,898.02.

Period for allegations and project consultation

The projects may be examined at the Teruel Provincial Service of the Department of Economy, Competitiveness and Employment, located at calle San Francisco, 1, Teruel. Interested parties will have a period of thirty days from the day following the publication of the announcement to submit any allegations they deem appropriate, in the forms provided for in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations.

Allegations must be addressed to the aforementioned service, citing “Public Information” and the corresponding file number as a reference. This publication is also carried out for the purposes of notification provided for in Article 45 of Law 39/2015. The announcements are signed by the director of the service, Ms. Lucía Villalba Valenzuela, dated September 1 and 2, 2026.

Relevance to the region

The reform of the “Mora” line ensures the adaptation of the electrical distribution network to the new road layout of highways A-228 and A-232, avoiding interference between both infrastructures. As it is a 20 kV line that supports the supply of Mora de Rubielos and its surroundings, the action is key to the security and continuity of the electrical service in the region, and its processing now opens the door to citizen participation before the final resolution of the files.
