Duruelo de la Sierra calls for a specialist for the Conect Center

The Duruelo de la Sierra City Council has approved the guidelines for hiring a specialist for the municipality’s Conect Center, as temporary contractual staff, alongside the creation of a job bank. The call for applications is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria number 117, dated October 9, 2026, on page 3454, with the official reference BOPSO-117-09102026. The announcement is signed by the mayor, María Cristina Rubio Blasco, in Duruelo de la Sierra on October 5, 2026.

The agreement is formalized with the publication of the guidelines, which are available to interested parties both at the municipal offices and on the council’s electronic headquarters. The position is titled “SPECIALIST FOR THE CONECT CENTER” and falls under the temporary contractual staff regime, with a destination unit shared between the Conect Center and other municipal areas.

The planned contractual modality is a contract for the improvement of employability and labor insertion, within the framework of employment activation programs. The call is not limited to filling the position: it also incorporates the creation of a job bank derived from the selection process.

The profile and required qualifications

Applicants must prove one of the qualifications provided for in the guidelines, which combine vocational training and university studies:

• Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training degree in Computer Application Development.
• WEB Application Development.
• Network Computer Systems Administration.
• Microcomputer Systems and Networks.
• Administration and Finance, Administrative Management, or similar.
• Diploma, degree, or undergraduate degree.

The list opens the process to both technical and administrative profiles, provided they hold the required qualification.

Contract conditions and position destination

The contract will be full-time, on working days, with morning and afternoon schedules. Its duration will be one non-renewable year, as stated in the guidelines.

The destination of the position is the Conect Center and other municipal areas, meaning the hired specialist may provide services in different areas of the local administration.

Deadline and submission of applications

The deadline for submitting applications extends until the tenth business day following the publication of the guidelines in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria, which took place on October 9, 2026.

The call for applications strengthens the municipal workforce with a specialized profile and, at the same time, opens a pathway to employment for job seekers with vocational training or university degrees in the region.
