Durón aprueba definitivamente un suplemento de crédito de 59.076 euros

The Durón City Council has finalized the credit modification file no. 1/2026, in the form of a credit supplement, for an amount of 59,076.16 euros. The plenary agreement of June 18, 2026, is thus consolidated as no claims were filed during the public exhibition period. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara no. 208, corresponding to Friday, October 30, 2026, within the City Councils section.

The process began with the initial approval of the file by the Plenary of the Durón City Council on June 18, 2026, an agreement that was first published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara no. 116, on June 22, 2026. Once the public exhibition period elapsed without allegations, the file is understood to be definitively approved automatically, without the need for a new pronouncement by the collegiate body.

The definitive publication is supported by article 169.3 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, by referral from article 177.2 of the same legal text. The announcement appears signed in Durón on October 28, 2026, by the mayor-president, Juan Ramírez García.

The destination of the expenditure: a building converted into a rural tourist complex

The credit supplement is concentrated in a single expenditure budget application, with the following detail:

  • Application 340.60900, “Adaptation works of an existing building for use as a rural tourist complex”: 59,076.16 euros.
  • Total expenditure: 59,076.16 euros.

The entire amount is therefore destined for the conditioning works of an already existing property for its use as a rural tourist complex, an action that until now lacked sufficient allocation in the municipality’s current budget and which is enabled by this modification.

Full financing with treasury surplus

The file is financed by a single income concept, according to the table published in the provincial gazette:

  • Concept 870.00, “Treasury surplus for general expenses”: 59,076.16 euros.
  • Total financing: 59,076.16 euros.

The operation is balanced to the cent, as expenditure and financing coincide at 59,076.16 euros. The announcement does not contemplate other sources of financing nor the arrangement of credit operations, so the modification is covered by accumulated municipal savings.

Two months to appeal before the High Court of Justice

An administrative appeal may be filed directly against the final approval agreement before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Castilla-La Mancha. The deadline is two months starting from the day following the publication of the announcement, in accordance with Article 171 of the aforementioned consolidated text and Article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction. The filing of the appeal shall not, by itself, suspend the effectiveness of the challenged agreement.

This modification is added to the budgetary activity that the City Council has deployed in the final stretch of the year. The Plenary held on October 15, 2026, initially approved a second file, no. 2/2026, in the form of an extraordinary credit for 2,407.97 euros, likewise financed with treasury surplus and destined for the municipal contribution to the 2026 Paving Plan, according to the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara no. 200, of October 20, 2026.

The consolidation of the credit supplement clears the financing for the tourism action and allows the City Council of Durón to commit the expenditure for the building’s adaptation works, once the public exhibition process has been closed without opposition from neighbors or other interested parties.
