Dos Hermanas calls for Equality grants for women's associations

The Dos Hermanas City Council has approved the 2026 call for grants from its Equality Delegation aimed at women’s associations in the municipality, according to the agreement of the Local Government Board dated September 23, 2026. The summary of the call, number 221508, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville no. 188, corresponding to Monday, September 28, 2026, on pages 98 and 99, with the official reference CVE: BOP-SE-2026-188013 and the identifier BDNS 931272.

The call is based on articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, and the full text can be consulted in the National Grants Database. The regulatory bases for the Equality Delegation grants are published on the municipal electronic office, and applying entities must also comply with the General Regulatory Ordinance for the Granting of Subsidies of the Dos Hermanas City Council.

Who can apply and what is financed

Beneficiaries may be women’s associations with a registered office in Dos Hermanas and registered in the City Council’s Municipal Registry of Associations, with a minimum seniority of one year prior to the current call. These requirements must be maintained until the approval of the expenditure justification.

Associations that are beneficiaries of a nominative grant this year are expressly excluded, regardless of whether the corresponding agreement has been signed.

Eligible projects are:

• Maintenance and activities: information and social awareness regarding equality between women and men.
• Initiatives that inform and raise awareness about the participation of women.
• Projects to develop female leadership capacities with a gender perspective.
• Actions that promote the presence and participation of women, especially young women, in the associative fabric.
• Prevention, training, and awareness against violence against women, in application of the State Pact against Gender Violence.
• Equipment investments that promote the use of communication technologies as tools for associative dynamization and networking.

Projects for exclusive leisure, those that do not incorporate a gender approach, or those intended for the care of women victims of violence will not be eligible for grants.

Amounts and budget items

The maximum amounts per project are 1,500 euros for maintenance and activities and 1,000 euros for technological equipment. The grant amount will cover 100% of the requested eligible amount and may in no case exceed these limits.

The funding for the 2026 financial year is divided between two expenditure items:

• Item 2310 48004, with a maximum amount of 6,000 euros, for maintenance projects and activities.
• Item 2310 78003, with a maximum amount of 4,000 euros, for technological equipment projects.

The total maximum amount is limited by existing budget availability and conditioned upon the existence of adequate and sufficient credit in the budget execution bases to be approved by the Plenary Council for the current fiscal year.

Deadline and submission of applications

The submission period will be 20 business days from the day following the publication of the summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville.

Applications shall be submitted according to the models in Annex I and Annex II, directly at the General Registry of the City Council or through any of the means provided for in Article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The forms can be obtained from the municipal website and at the headquarters of the Municipal Women’s Information Center of Dos Hermanas, and should preferably be delivered to the General Registry, without prejudice to auxiliary registries.

The submission of the application entails authorization for the managing body to carry out the necessary inquiries for the processing and resolution of the procedure. Applications submitted after the deadline will be inadmissible.

The call opens a direct financing channel for the female associative fabric of the municipality, which must align its projects with the five planned areas of action and submit the documentation within a tight schedule of 20 business days. For interested associations, the window for action depends on the publication date of the summary, making the prior preparation of the annexes decisive for applying for the grants.
