The transfer of a pharmacy office in Donostia has been announced

The Basque Government’s Department of Health has announced a proposal for the 100% transfer of a pharmacy office in the San Sebastián pharmaceutical zone (Gipuzkoa). The announcement was published in the Boletín Oficial del País Vasco (BOPV) issue dated 2026-09-04, with official reference 2026/3809, and interested parties have a period of two months to submit their applications.

The announcement is made in compliance with Article 4 of Decree 166/1999 (March 16), the regulation that establishes the procedure for the transfer of pharmacy offices. According to the provisions of that Decree, public notice of a transfer proposal must be given so that interested parties may submit applications.

Ways to obtain information

Interested pharmacists may obtain the information contained in the file —regarding the pharmacy office, the price, and the remaining conditions of the transfer— at three territorial representations:

• Health Territorial Representation of Álava, Olaguibel street 38 (Vitoria-Gasteiz).
• Health Territorial Representation of Gipuzkoa, Sancho el Sabio street 35 (San Sebastián).
• Health Territorial Representation of Bizkaia, Alameda Rekalde 39 (Bilbao).

Deadlines and fees

The deadline for submitting applications to acquire the pharmacy office is two months, starting from the day the announcement was published in the Boletín Oficial del País Vasco. Applications are subject to a fee of 274.81 euros.

The announcement was signed by the pharmacy director Jon Iñaki Betolaza San Miguel, in Vitoria-Gasteiz, on August 27, 2026. The procedure ensures transparency and competition in the transfer of the pharmacy office, so that all interested parties can participate under the same conditions.
