Don Benito publishes the final list for five Administrative Assistant positions

The Don Benito City Council has approved, via Mayoral resolution, the final list of admitted and excluded applicants, the composition of the qualifying board, and the date for the single exercise of the call to fill five permanent positions for Administrative Assistant, civil servant personnel, in the open entry system via a competitive examination process. The resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 161, dated August 24, 2026, as announcement 3342/2026.

The call stems from the rules published in BOP number 48, dated March 12, 2026 (announcement 794/2026), rectified in BOP number 61, dated March 31, 2026 (announcement 1028/2026). With this publication, the council complies with the provisions established in rule 4.1 of the call and closes the applicant admission phase.

Final list of admitted and excluded applicants

The resolution declares the final list of applicants, which consists of 245 admitted and 16 excluded. Those excluded are so due to causes such as the lack of a certified copy of the ID or degree, the absence of a job application registration, failure to pay fees, or failure to justify the circumstances of Article 57 of the Basic Statute of Public Employees.

Among the causes for exclusion are, among others:

• Lack of job application registration.
• Uncertified ID or academic degree.
• Unsigned application.
• Failure to pay fees.
• Lack of employment history record.
• Failure to justify the circumstances of Article 57 of the Basic Statute of Public Employees.

Composition of the qualifying board

The board will be chaired by a public employee appointed by the Mayor, with Domingo Panea Medina as the titular member and María Teresa Ruiz Galán as the substitute. Three public employees appointed by the Mayor and one public employee from the Junta de Extremadura will serve as members.

• Titular member Ángel Gutiérrez Piñero, substitute Andrés Fernández Galán.
• Titular member Eva María Fernández Melitón, substitute Cándido Ruiz Garrido.
• Titular member Fernando Delgado Fernández, substitute Piedraescrita Morillo-Velarde Gallego.
• Titular member from the Junta de Extremadura Jesús Donaire Paín, substitute José María Torbellino García.

The secretariat corresponds to that of the Corporation or the public employee to whom it is delegated, with Alberto Javier Espinar Sánchez-Miranda as the titular member and María José Rodríguez Paredes as the substitute.

Date and location of the single exercise

The single exercise of the examination phase will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Municipal Sports Pavilion, in the Don Benito Sports City, with entrances on Eusebio Parejo street s/n and Piscinas street s/n.

The resolution, digitally signed by Mayor Elisabeth Medina Bravo, will be published in the BOP of Badajoz, on the City Council’s notice board, and on the employment board of the municipal website www.donbenito.es.

The publication of this final list represents a decisive step for the hundreds of registered applicants, who now know their administrative status and the exam schedule. With five positions at stake and 245 admitted candidates, the call for applications stands as one of the most relevant public employment opportunities of the year in the Don Benito region.
