Doña Mencía rectifies the provisional lists for its Local Police position
Por FactBox Admin

The Doña Mencía City Council has officially rectified the provisional lists of admitted and excluded applicants for the selection process to fill a vacant position for a civil servant in the Special Administration Scale, Special Services Subscale, Local Police category. The correction is formalized through Mayoral Resolution no. 2026//00000892, signed on September 11, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba on Thursday, September 17, 2026. The agreement nullifies an improper admission and corrects two omissions detected during the file review.
The origin of the rectification
The provisional lists were approved by mayoral resolution and published in BOP no. 166, of August 27, as part of the process to fill a vacant civil servant position at the Doña Mencía City Council via open competitive examination. Once the ten-business-day period granted for the correction of deficiencies and the submission of claims had elapsed, the Council reviewed the submitted applications and noted material errors and omissions in the publication.
The rectification is supported by Article 109.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, which allows administrations to correct material, factual, or arithmetic errors in their acts at any time, either officially or at the request of a party. The resolution bears the signature of the mayor-president, Salvador Cubero Priego, and has been acknowledged by the Secretariat-Intervention for transcription into the Book of Resolutions, in accordance with Article 3.2 of RD 128/2018, of March 16.
The three affected applicants
The file review has affected three personal files, with the following consequences:
- Ortega Pozo, Jesús (2697****N): improper inclusion in the provisional list of admitted applicants due to a cause for exclusion; his provisional admission is nullified upon verification of non-compliance with the process rules.
- Osuna Marín, Amelia (2697****F): improper omission from the publication of the provisional lists of admitted and excluded applicants.
- Luque Cívico, Luis Javier (4594****K): improper omission from the publication of the provisional lists of admitted and excluded applicants.
All three now appear in Annex II as provisionally excluded, with the cause for exclusion identified as (1.a): the application was not submitted in accordance with rule 4.2 of the process regulations, a defect that the resolution itself classifies as non-remediable.
New lists and period for allegations
The resolution approves and orders the publication of the updated list of admitted candidates (Annex I), which includes 55 applicants, and the new list of those provisionally excluded due to noted omissions or errors (Annex II), with a succinct statement of the causes for each exclusion. Annex II further details the catalog of applicable reasons, including the lack of signature on the application, failure to provide a copy of the DNI or its reverse side, failure to prove the required qualification, the absence of valid A2 and B driving licenses, and the lack of proof of payment of the examination fees.
A period of ten business days is granted, counting from the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba and on the Notice Board of the municipal Electronic Office, solely for the three applicants listed in Annex II to submit allegations under base 5 of the process regulations. The publication of the resolution and the updated lists is ordered in both official channels.
Impact for applicants
The correction alters the starting position of three candidates in a competitive examination process in the open entry category for a single vacancy, such that the call calendar is conditioned upon the resolution of the allegations submitted within the open period. For the remaining 55 admitted candidates, the list published in Annex I is the current reference until the claims are resolved.
