Zamora Provincial Council announces job bank for industrial technical electrical engineers

The Provincial Council of Zamora has approved the bases and the call for the selection process to establish a Type B Job Bank for industrial technical engineers, electrical branch, with the aim of covering temporary employment contracts and appointments of interim civil servants. The resolution, adopted via decree number 2026-5593, of August 31, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Zamora no. 106, of September 11, 2026 (pages 15 to 26), signed by the president of the corporation, Javier Faúndez Domínguez.
The process is framed within the Regulation on the composition and management of job banks of the Council, published in the BOP of Zamora no. 31, of March 12, 2008. The call responds to the non-existence of current job banks, neither Type A nor Type B, for this category, and was negotiated with the unions CSIF, UGT, and USO at the General Negotiation Table, with which an agreement was reached on June 24, 2026.
Requirements and qualifications
Applicants must meet the general participation requirements on the closing date for the submission of applications and maintain them until taking office. Among them:
- Hold Spanish nationality or be a national of a member state of the European Union (or a spouse or descendant under the provided conditions).
- Possess the functional capacity for the performance of the position and be at least 16 years of age without having reached the retirement age.
- Not have been dismissed from the service of any public administration nor be disqualified from public employment or positions.
- Hold one of the required qualifications: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technical Engineer (pursuant to royal decrees 1.402/1992 to 1.406/1992) or another university degree that qualifies for the practice of the profession.
Selection test and tribunal
The competitive phase will consist of a single exercise: a written questionnaire of 80 multiple-choice questions, with a time limit of 80 minutes and up to 10% reserve questions. Each question is worth 10/80 points; incorrect answers are penalized by a quarter of the value of a correct one, and unanswered questions neither score nor subtract. The minimum score to pass the exercise may not be less than 30% of the maximum obtainable.
The grading tribunal will be composed of a president, a secretary, and four members, all career civil servants, with their respective substitutes, and will adhere to the principles of impartiality, professionalism, and parity. Additionally, adaptations of time and means are provided for persons with disabilities who request them.
Deadline and submission of applications
Applications shall be formalized using the model in Annex I of the terms and conditions, available at the corporation’s offices and on the Provincial Council’s website (www.diputaciondezamora.es). The submission period shall be ten business days starting from the day following the publication of the call announcement in the BOP of Zamora, and applications shall be submitted to the General Registry of the Provincial Council or through the means specified in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015.
The call opens a stable opportunity for industrial engineering graduates in the province, who may access temporary contracts and interim positions within the provincial administration. The management of the resulting pool shall comply with the Provincial Council’s own regulations, and contracts shall be formalized according to the needs of the local entity.
