Provincial Council of Seville appoints three gardening officers from the 2021/2022 OEP

The Provincial Council of Seville has announced the hiring as permanent contractual staff of three candidates who passed the selective tests of the 2021/2022 Public Employment Offer for positions of 1st Class Gardening Official. The announcement, authorized by Resolution 5831/26 of August 20, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 174, dated Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

The hiring is formalized in accordance with Article 62 of the Recast Text of the Law of the Basic Statute of Public Employees, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015 of October 30, and following the mandatory proposal of the Qualifying Tribunal that judged the tests convened for this purpose, in the open category and as contractual staff.

The three hired candidates

The positions are awarded to the following candidates, who have passed the corresponding tests:

• Mr. Juan Carlos Alcalde Moya (ID *0407)
• Mr. Javier Centeno Astudillo (ID *0434)
• Mr. José Antonio Durán Melchor (ID *1858)

The announcement is published for general knowledge, with the electronic signature of the Deputy Secretary General acting as Secretary General, María García de Pesquera Tassara, by delegation of Resolution no. 7907/2024 of November 25.

Appeal periods

Against the resolution, which exhausts the administrative route, interested parties may alternatively file:

• Optional appeal for reversal, within one month from the day following publication, before the Most Excellent Mr. President of the Provincial Council of Seville, pursuant to Articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015 of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure.
• Contentious-administrative appeal, within two months, before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Seville, in accordance with Article 46 of Law 29/1998 of July 13, of the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction.

If the appeal for reversal is chosen, the contentious-administrative appeal cannot be filed until the former is expressly resolved or its presumed dismissal occurs, without prejudice to the extraordinary appeal for review.

The publication consolidates the stabilization of three gardening positions within the staff of the Provincial Council of Seville, fulfilling the 2021/2022 Public Employment Offer in the open category.
