The agreement, adopted in an ordinary session on July 30, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 168, dated August 31, 2026, with reference BOP-SE-2026-168002.

Following the legal period of public exhibition without any claims being filed, the Corporation has made the file definitive in accordance with the provisions of Article 177.2 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the Revised Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries. The announcement, processed by the Treasury Area through the Budget Office, is available on the Council’s Transparency Portal.

Credit supplements

Credit supplements amount to 38,985,000.00 euros, distributed entirely in non-financial operations:

  • Current operations: 22,285,000.30 euros, in chapter 4 of current transfers.
  • Capital operations: 16,700,000.00 euros, in chapter 7 of capital transfers.

  • Current operations: 200,000.00 euros, in chapter 4 of current transfers.
  • Capital operations: 36,595,577.27 euros, divided between chapter 6 of real investments (5,500,000.00 euros) and chapter 7 of capital transfers (31,095,577.27 euros).

Financing and resources

The entirety of the file, 75,780,577.27 euros, is financed by the Treasury Surplus for General Expenses, without resorting to financial operations. The document is signed by María García de Pesquera Tassara, Deputy Secretary General acting as Secretary General, by virtue of the delegation of Resolution No. 7907/2024, of November 25.

Against the agreement, which is final in administrative proceedings, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed within two months from the day following this publication, in accordance with Law 39/2015, of October 1, and Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction.

The injection of more than 75 million euros will allow the Council to reinforce current and capital transfers as well as real investments in the municipalities of the province, providing budgetary coverage for new expenses charged to the accumulated treasury savings.
