Provincial Council of Jaén publishes admitted and excluded candidates for four educator positions

The Provincial Council of Jaén has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the provision of four career civil servant positions with the title of Specialist Educator, through an open competitive examination system. The resolution, signed by the Deputy for Human Resources, Ms. Pilar Parra Ruiz, is published in the Official Provincial Gazette (BOP) of Jaén number 168, dated August 31, 2026, on page 13099.

The announcement corresponds to Resolution No. 2854, of August 28, 2026, issued by delegation of the Deputy for Human Resources (P.D. Resol. No. 268, of 06/09/2026), and affects a public employment process of great interest to hundreds of applicants in the province.

Framework of the call

The positions called for belong to Group A, Subgroup A.2, Special Administration Scale, Special Services Subscale, Special Assignments Class, and are included in the public employment offer of the Provincial Council of Jaén and its Autonomous Bodies for the years 2024 and 2025.

Admitted and excluded

After the deadline for submitting applications ended, the resolution admits hundreds of applicants and excludes a total of 109 people, whose names, surnames, and ID numbers (DNI) appear in the announcement. The exclusions are due to various reasons listed in the call’s codes, including:

• Code 1: DNI not provided
• Code 2: Expired DNI
• Code 3: Incomplete DNI (only front side provided)
• Code 5: Required qualification not provided
• Code 6: Incomplete degree (only front side provided)
• Code 9: Corresponding fee not paid
• Code 10: Large family status not accredited
• Code 11: Job seeker status not accredited during the three months prior to the BOE announcement
• Code 47: Validity date of large family status not accredited

Correction period

Excluded applicants may correct the deficiencies that are correctable within a period of ten business days, counting from the day following the publication in the BOP, in accordance with Article 68 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, and as provided in the Fifth Rule of the call.

Corrections shall be submitted through the Electronic Office of the Provincial Council of Jaén, via the link enabled for this purpose (https://sede.dipujaen.es/Convocatorias/Subsanables). The resolution is published in the BOP and on the Corporation’s website for purely informative purposes, in accordance with Article 45, paragraph 1.b), of Law 39/2015.
