Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Council of Granada has made final the budget modification MC 30/2026, for an amount of 826,289 euros, which eliminates the nominative subsidies to Granada Club de Fútbol and Club Deportivo Baloncesto Granada and creates a new aid in favor of the College of Pharmacists for cardioprotected local entities. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada, number 164, of August 26, 2026 (reference BOP-GRA-2026-164001).
The file, initially approved by the Plenary of the Council in an ordinary session on July 23, 2026, under the modalities of credit supplement and extraordinary credit, becomes final automatically as no claims were filed. The announcement appears signed in Granada on August 19, 2026, by Ana María Molina Gálvez, deputy for Economy and Mayor’s Assistance.
A readjustment of 826,289 euros
The operation is financed through cancellations or reductions of expenditure credits from other items of the current budget that are not committed, whose allocations are estimated to be reducible without disruption to the service. The total of additions and reductions in expenditures amounts to 826,289 euros, with an additional supplement of 56,000 euros financed from the liquid treasury surplus.
Among the additions, the items for fairs, events, and agri-food promotion (380,000 euros), investment in complex project plants (200,000 euros), aid to families and non-profit institutions (146,289 euros), and the acquisition of transport elements (60,000 euros) stand out.
Eliminated subsidies and new aid
The modification of the execution bases of the 2026 budget eliminates two nominative subsidies of a sporting nature:
- Granada Club de Fútbol (CIF G18013003): 180,000 euros.
- Club Deportivo Baloncesto Granada (CIF G10815983): 200,000 euros.
In their place, a new nominative subsidy is included in favor of the Agreement Institution College of Pharmacists – Safe Cardioprotected Local Entities (CIF Q1866002G), for 146,289 euros, destined for the provision of defibrillators in local entities. Likewise, the nominative subsidy to the Civil Guard Foundation (CIF G83486001) is modified, for 22,000 euros.
Deadlines and appeals
Against the final approval, interested parties may directly file a contentious-administrative appeal before the corresponding Contentious-Administrative Court of Granada, within a period of two months from the publication of the announcement, in accordance with article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating said jurisdiction.
The reallocation of credits represents a significant readjustment for local sports in Granada, as it withdraws nominative support from two of its main clubs to redirect funds toward agri-food promotion, investment in plants, and cardioprotective security for the province’s municipalities.
