Provincial Council of Córdoba renews its administrative assistant from the VOX group

The Provincial Council of Córdoba has appointed Laura Gómez Méndez as an administrative assistant for the VOX political group and has dismissed Alexandra Oana Moldoveanu from the same position, according to the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 173, dated September 7, 2026 (reference BOP-A-2026-3043). The decision, adopted by Decree of the Presidency, is part of the renewal of the provincial corporation’s temporary trusted personnel.

The announcement, signed by the president of the Council, Salvador Fuentes Lopera, in Córdoba on September 3, 2026, is published in compliance with article 104.3 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime.

Regulatory framework for temporary personnel

The appointment and dismissal are based on articles 104 and 104 bis of Law 7/1985, article 176 of Royal Decree 781/1986, of April 18, and article 12 of the revised text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30.

The Plenary of the Council, in an extraordinary session on July 12, 2023, established the number, characteristics, and remuneration of the positions reserved for temporary personnel, an agreement published in BOP number 136, of July 19, 2023. Since then, several announcements regarding salary increases and appointments for the Presidency and political groups have followed.

Appointment and dismissal in the VOX group

The new appointment was made via Presidency Decree of August 29, 2026, with resolution number 8145/2026, exercising the powers conferred by article 104.2 of Law 7/1985 and article 61, paragraph 12, letter d) of Royal Decree 2568/1986, of November 28.

• Appointed: Laura Gómez Méndez, administrative assistant of the VOX political group (resolution 8145/2026).
• Dismissed: Alexandra Oana Moldoveanu, administrative assistant of the VOX political group, via Presidency Decree of July 6, 2026, entered in the Resolution Book under number 2026/6475.

Discretionary and temporary nature of the position

In accordance with current regulations, the appointment and dismissal of this personnel are discretionary, and the position automatically terminates in all cases when the authority to whom they provide their trust or advisory function ceases or their mandate expires. It is, therefore, a position of trust linked to the term of the corporation and the political group they serve.

The publication of this announcement ensures transparency and public knowledge of changes in the trust positions of the provincial institution, a mechanism that allows citizens and political groups to know the composition of the temporary personnel advising the Provincial Council of Córdoba.
