The Provincial Council of Burgos publishes the provisional list for family educator

The Provincial Council of Burgos has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the permanent appointment of three family educator positions, corresponding to the new entry shift for labor personnel from the public employment offers of 2024 and 2025. The resolution, signed by the first vice-president on August 27, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 168, dated September 4, 2026.

The unitary call was published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 47, dated March 10, 2026, and once the deadline for submitting applications has passed, the First Vice-Presidency, under the delegation conferred by the Presidency via decree number 2023007943, dated August 3, 2023, now resolves to approve the provisional list of participants.

Call Figures

The selection process results in a total of 63 admitted applicants and 70 excluded, who must rectify their situation within ten business days, in accordance with article 68.1 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. Admission remains, in any case, conditional upon the applicants meeting the requirements demanded in the call.

The most frequent reasons for exclusion are:

• C.N. — does not indicate class B driver’s license.
• V.N. — does not indicate availability of a vehicle.
• T.N. — does not meet or does not indicate the required qualification.
• F.P. — submission after the deadline (non-rectifiable).
• I.B. — blank application or no application.

Qualifying Tribunal

The resolution also makes public the composition of the qualifying tribunal, which will be composed of:

• President: titular, Carmen Elena Elvira Posteguillo; substitute, Nuria Santamaría Ordóñez.
• Members: titulars Idoya Ortega Urien, Rebeca Alba Santamaría and Dara Martínez Besga, with substitutes Sonia Delgado Bárcena, Javier Elías Sancirián and M.ª Carmen Baranda Fernández.
• Secretary: titular, Fernando Rodríguez Revuelta; substitute, Icíar García Varona.

Given the number of applicants and the characteristics of the process, the number of foreseeable sessions of the qualifying body is estimated at 20.

First Exercise and Deadlines

Admitted applicants are summoned to the first exercise of the selection process on October 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM, in the assembly hall of the Royal Monastery of San Agustín, calle Madrid, number 24, 09002 Burgos. The remaining announcements of the call will be made public on the entity’s notice board.

The publication of this resolution in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos shall be decisive for the deadlines regarding possible challenges or appeals. The document, signed in Burgos on August 28, 2026, by the secretary general, José Luis M.ª González de Miguel, is of particular interest to the applicants and to the provincial social services, whose staff will be reinforced with the permanent appointment of three family educators.
