Burgos Provincial Council: provisional list of nine laundry worker positions

The Provincial Council of Burgos has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the call to fill nine permanent positions for laundry-sewing-ironing staff, two of which are reserved for people with disabilities. Resolution number 9071/2026, dated September 10, is signed by the first vice-president of the entity and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 178, dated September 18, 2026, with reference BoPBUR-2026-03935. The announcement also opens the testing calendar for the process, with the first exercise already convened.

The positions correspond to the new entry shift for permanent labor personnel and are included in the 2025 public employment offer of the Provincial Council of Burgos. The unitary call was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 47, dated March 10, 2026, and the deadline for submitting applications has already concluded.

The first vice-president acts in accordance with the powers of article 34.g) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of Local Regime, and by virtue of the generic delegation conferred by the Presidency through decree number 2023007943, of August 3, 2023, for the direction and management of the services linked to the Human Resources Information Commission.

421 admitted applicants and seven excluded

The provisional list of admitted applicants consists of 421 people, ordered alphabetically and with the NIF partially hidden. Twenty of them are applying through the reserve shift for people with disabilities, identified in the announcement with the mark (D), and their admission is conditional upon the provision of the corresponding supporting documentation.

• Admitted: 421 applicants.
• Reserve shift for people with disabilities: 20 applicants.
• Excluded: 7 applicants, all due to submission after the deadline (F.P.), a non-remediable reason.
• Among the excluded is one applicant from the reserve shift for people with disabilities.

Qualifying tribunal and planned sessions

The resolution also makes public the composition of the qualifying tribunal:

• Presidency: titular Carmen Elena Elvira Posteguillo; substitute Ana M.ª Aguado García.
• Titular members: M.ª Judit López Linares, M.ª Esther de Miguel Pardo, and M.ª Azucena Díez de la Fuente.
• Substitute members: Rocío Verónica García Fernández, M.ª José Morales Parras, and Amparo Fontecha Berrio.
• Secretariat: titular Carlos Carazo Pérez; substitute José María Movilla Lobo.

Given the number of applicants and the characteristics of the selection process, the Council estimates 20 foreseeable sessions of the selection body for the purpose of paying service-related indemnities.

Correction period and first test

Those declared excluded and those who consider that they should appear on the list have a rectification period of ten business days, in accordance with article 68.1 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. Admission is in all cases conditional upon the applicants meeting the conditions and requirements demanded in the call.

The first exercise of the selection process will be held on October 16, 2026, at 12:30 p.m., at the University of Burgos, Higher Polytechnic School (Milanera Campus), calle Villadiego, s/n, 09001 Burgos. Remaining announcements will be published on the entity’s notice board, and the publication of the resolution in the provincial bulletin determines the deadlines for the purposes of possible challenges or appeals.

For the applicants, the publication establishes two critical dates: the ten-business-day period to correct exclusions or claim inclusion and the exam on October 16. The process reinforces the permanent workforce of the Provincial Council of Burgos with nine positions for laundry-sewer-presser, two of which are reserved for people with disabilities, within the 2025 public employment offer.
