Badajoz Provincial Council: provisional list for two Kitchen Assistant positions

The Provincial Council of Badajoz has made public the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the call for two vacant civil servant positions as Kitchen Assistant. The resolution is issued by the Third Vice President and delegated deputy of the Functional Area of Public Employees, Occupational Health and Safety, by delegation of the president of the corporation. It is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 178, dated September 17, 2026, under reference Announcement 3630/2026, and includes 61 admitted persons and 17 excluded.
The process is called for the free shift through a competitive examination (concurso-oposición) and the positions are categorized under the Special Administration scale, Special Services subscale, class P. Trade, Professional Groups group. The initial call, for one position, corresponded to the public employment offer for the years 2022 and 2023, approved by resolution of the Presidency on March 7, 2024, and published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura number 52, dated March 14, 2024.
The eighth clause of the call allowed for the accumulation of positions offered in future public employment offers until the date of publication of the summary in the Official State Gazette. In this way, one Kitchen Assistant position corresponding to the 2026 public employment offer, originating from the 2021 offer, was added, totaling two vacant positions. The full terms and conditions were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 28, dated February 11, 2026.
61 admitted applicants and 17 excluded
The decree provides, in its first point, to declare approved and make public the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the selection tests for the two Kitchen Assistant positions. The list of admitted applicants, ordered alphabetically, ranges from Carmen Acedo Ledesma to Vanesa Villalobos Macías and totals 61 names.
The list of excluded persons, consisting of 17 individuals, details the specific cause of exclusion for each applicant via a numerical code. The resolution reminds that the list contains personal data, complies with current legislation on the matter, and its sole purpose is to publicize this phase of the selection procedure and, where applicable, notify those participating.
Causes for exclusion
- Did not provide proof of work experience: Beatriz Acosta Arévalos, María Inmaculada Lombardo Mendoza, Francisca Martín Díaz, Rebeca Martínez González, Olalla Mateo Rastrollo, Daniel Ramajo Parra and Estefanía Tobal Benítez.
- Did not provide proof of fee payment: Domingo Jesús Álvarez Zambrano, Guadalupe Ceballos Calvo, Katty Marina Cruz Plaza, Sara Domínguez Araya, Sergio Domínguez Rodríguez, Estefanía Galán Espino, Ana García García, Rosana Gil García and María Carmen Lumera Zamora.
- Did not provide proof of fee payment nor accreditation of large family status: Celia Tercero Carozo.
Ten business days to remedy deficiencies
The second point of the decree establishes a remedy period of ten business days starting from the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz. If the requirement is not met within this period, the affected persons will be considered to have withdrawn their application.
The remedy must be carried out electronically through the corporate electronic office of the Provincial Council of Badajoz (https://sede.dip-badajoz.es/), by accessing the procedure “Remedy of the application for admission to selective tests,” where the appropriate documentation shall be attached according to the cause of exclusion. Access will be available during the period via the path Citizen and Business Procedures > procedures by delegations > Human Resources and Internal Regulations.
The decree is issued under article 61, paragraph 12, of Royal Decree 2568/1986, of November 28, which approves the Regulation of Organization, Operation and Legal Regime of Local Entities. The Human Resources Administration Service is charged with the fulfillment of the order, which will make the content of the resolution public in the provincial gazette, and the publication complies with article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The document appears electronically signed by the Secretary General, Enrique Pedrero Balas.
The publication opens the decisive stage for the candidates aspiring to these two Kitchen Assistant positions in the provincial administration: those appearing on the list of excluded persons have a limited and strictly electronic window to correct their situation, while the 61 provisionally admitted candidates await the final list and the schedule of the selective tests.
