Alicante Provincial Council publishes provisional list for 33 assistant positions

The Provincial Council of Alicante has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante number 170, dated September 8, 2026, the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the selection process to fill 33 positions for General Administration Assistant. The resolution, adopted by Decree of the Deputy for Human Resources and the Pedro Herrero Institute no. 3838, dated August 21, 2026, opens a ten-day period to submit claims and corrections.

The process is part of the Public Employment Offers for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, and also includes the creation of a job bank. Of the 33 positions, 32 are reserved for the open competition via the opposition procedure and one for the internal promotion track via a competition-opposition process. All belong to the General Administration Scale, Assistant Subscale, and Classification Subgroup C2, vacancies within the provincial corporation’s staff.

Provisional lists by track

The provisional list is structured into two annexes: Annex I contains the internal promotion track and Annex II the open competition track. In the internal promotion track, there are 9 admitted applicants and 6 excluded; in the open competition track, 3,445 applicants have been admitted and 3 have been excluded.

• Internal promotion admitted: FRANCES GINER, MARÍA YOLANDA; GIMÉNEZ GIL, ANA MARÍA; LLEBRES ROMAN, ELVIRA; MARTÍNEZ POMATA, AMPARO; MOLINA GARCÍA, JUAN DIEGO; NAVARRO BIRLANGA, EMMA; RUIZ JIMENEZ, ANTONIO ISMAEL; SALA MIRA, RAFAEL; and SERRANO BAÑON, MARÍA DEL CARMEN.
• Internal promotion excluded: DIAZ SANCHEZ, SALVADOR; JIMENEZ RUIZ, MARIA PILAR; MERAS CRUZ, JULIAN EDUARDO; NAVARRO TOCADO, GEMMA; RÓDENAS JUAN, BORJA; and VALERA BAUTISTA, CRISTIAN MIGUEL.
• Open competition excluded: ARROYO FERIA, FRANCISCO JAVIER; PEREZ CASELLES, DIANA; and SORIA PEREZ, EVA MARÍA.

Reasons for exclusion and correction

The exclusions are based on two reasons set out in the rules. In the internal promotion track, the sole reason is not holding a position as a career civil servant in the Provincial Council of Alicante. In the open competition track, the exclusion is due to not having paid the examination fee or a defect in providing the proof of payment.

Those listed as excluded in the open competition track must rectify this through the electronic office of the Provincial Council (diputacionalicante.sedelectronica.es), following these steps:

• Access the Interest Link / Employment / Provincial Council Calls within Submission Period section, choose the call, and fill out the questionnaire, noting the internal reference.
• Make the corresponding payment in the Interest Link / Payments section and download the receipt.
• Enter My Electronic Folder / My Files, click on Submission of documents, and attach the proof of payment.

Appeal period

In accordance with the Fourth Base of the selection process and article 68 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, a period of ten days is opened —counted from the day following the publication of the announcement— to submit a written appeal and/or correction regarding the provisional list. If no appeal is submitted, the provisional list will be automatically elevated to final.

The publication is of great interest to the thousands of candidates competing in one of the most anticipated public employment calls in the province, as it involves stable positions in the Auxiliary Subscale with access via both the open competition and internal promotion. Applicants must review their status in the annexes and, if applicable, make corrections within the deadline to avoid losing their right to participate in the selection process.
