Alicante Provincial Council approves the 2026-2028 Grant Plan

The Provincial Council of Alicante has definitively approved the General Strategic Grant Plan 2026-2028, the multi-annual framework that establishes the institution’s aid lines for the next three fiscal years. The decision is formalized through an announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante on August 25, 2026, in the Local Administration section.

The plan was initially approved by the Plenary of the Provincial Council of Alicante in an ordinary session held on July 29, 2026. Following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province number 144, dated August 3, 2026, the document was subject to public consultation for a period of ten business days, starting from the day following said publication.

Processing and definitive approval

Once the public exhibition period elapsed without any observations, claims, or suggestions being presented, the plan is considered definitively approved. This closes the administrative procedure initiated in the July Plenary and finalizes the document that will govern the provincial aid policy during the triennium.

The full text of the plan is available to interested parties on the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Alicante, via the Transparency Portal, in the section for information of legal relevance and annual and multi-annual plans.

Scope of the plan

The General Strategic Grant Plan constitutes the planning instrument that organizes the aid lines that the Provincial Council will announce between 2026 and 2028. Its scope directly affects the main beneficiaries of the provincial grant policy:

• City Councils of the province of Alicante, recipients of the cooperation and municipal economic assistance lines.
• Associations and non-profit entities applying for provincial aid in social, cultural, and sporting matters.
• Companies and collectives participating in economic development and employment calls.

Publication and transparency

The definitive approval is published for general knowledge, so that any interested entity can learn about the planned aid lines and prepare their participation in future calls. The announcement, electronically signed by the Area Director, refers to the link to the Transparency Portal where the full text of the plan is hosted.

With this publication, the Provincial Council of Alicante provides legal certainty and predictability to its grant policy for the next three years, allowing city councils, associations, and entities to plan their access to provincial resources in advance.
