Provincial Council approves the cycle path from Luque to the Vía Verde del Aceite

The Plenary Session of the Provincial Council of Córdoba has provisionally approved the project for the “Cycle Path from Luque to Vía Verde del Aceite via Provincial Road CO-6203”, along with the list of assets, rights, and owners affected by its execution. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba on Friday, October 9, 2026, number 196, in section VI - Local Administration, with the official reference BOP-A-2026-3426. The announcement, electronically signed in Córdoba on October 7, 2026, opens the compulsory purchase proceedings and the public information period for the residents of the municipality of Luque.

The issuing body is the Delegation of Infrastructure, Sustainability, and Agriculture of the Provincial Council of Córdoba. The announcement is signed by the 1st Vice President and Delegated Deputy for Infrastructure, Sustainability, and Agriculture, Andrés Lorite Lorite, and includes the approval of the Head of the Expropriations and Valuations Unit, Francisco Márquez Priego. The proceedings are processed in accordance with Law 8/2001, of July 12, on Andalusian Roads, the Compulsory Purchase Law of December 16, 1954, and Article 16 of the Regulations of the Compulsory Purchase Law, approved by the Royal Decree of April 26, 1957.

The approval of the project implies the declaration of public utility and the need for the occupation of the corresponding assets and rights for the purposes of expropriation, temporary occupation, or the imposition or modification of easements. The agreement is understood to be automatically definitively approved if no objections to the project are raised.

The published list affects a total of 20 plots in the municipality of Luque, with a combined area of 3,823 square meters, mostly rural land:

• Polygon 26, plots 472, 460, 461, 466, 443, 444, 445, 437, 438, 435, 427, 426, 425, 422, 421, and 420, with uses of rain-fed olive grove, rain-fed cropland, and urban.
• Polygon 12, plots 85 and 86, both rain-fed cropland.
• Urban cadastral references 7482901UG8578S0001RY and 7482902UG8578S0001DY, for industrial use.

The affected owners

Among the holders included in the list are individuals and several companies, with areas ranging from 14 to 494 square meters:

• CENTRO AGROTURISTICO ECOLÓGICO EL CORTIJILLO SL (297 m²) and HORIZON PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SL (494 m²).
• Carmen Baena Ontiveros, Estrella Ruiz Jiménez, Antonio Castro Baena, Antonio Valera Ramírez, José Serrano Toledo, Rosario Valera Cañete, María Josefa Ontiveros Navas and Francisco Pérez Ortiz.
• Antonio, Joaquín, Manuel and Francisco Arrebola Ordóñez, owners of plot 435 (311 m²).
• José Bravo García, Fuensanta Navas Luque, Ana María Marín Serrano, Felipe Carrillo Ordóñez, Clementina Ortiz Jiménez, Josefa Ordóñez Ortiz and Rafael Jurado Zamora.
• José María Jiménez Jurado, Laura Jiménez Ayala, Rafael Jiménez Godoy, Elena Francisca Jiménez Godoy, Francisco Javier Jiménez Molina, Jesús Jiménez Molina, Antonio Jiménez Molina, Antonio Molina Jiménez, Antonio Ramón Jiménez Ontiveros, Francisca Jiménez Ontiveros, Rafael Jiménez Ontiveros, Trinidad Jiménez Tienda, Marta Jiménez Lastres and Eva María Jiménez Lastres.
• Heirs of Juan Bravo Jiménez and Francisco Jiménez Jurado, together with Juan Agustín Molina Jiménez, Carmen Lucena Jiménez, María de la Sierra Molina Jiménez, María del Carmen Jiménez Navas, Encarnación Jiménez Navas, Encarnación Navas Martos and Daniel Jiménez Ayala.

Project Consultation and Allegations

The project may be consulted, by appointment, at the Roads Service of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, at Avenida del Mediterráneo s/n, 14001 Córdoba, from 9:00 to 13:00 hours. Furthermore, and in accordance with articles 7 a) and 13.1 e) of Law 1/2014, of June 24, on Public Transparency of Andalusia, the project will be publicized during the public information period on the transparency portal and on the Electronic Office of the Provincial Council.

The document incorporates the Secure Verification Code (CSV) C90F 4A6F 64B4 A27F 7C2C, signed on October 9, 2026, which allows for the verification of the authenticity of the announcement.

The publication directly affects the ownership of approximately twenty estates in the surroundings of the CO-6203 and conditions the cycling connection from Luque to the Vía Verde del Aceite, a tourist and sporting itinerary. The owners included in the list thus have the formal channel to submit allegations before the provisional approval becomes final.
