Provincial Council opens public consultation for the repair of the CP-71 Del Galván road

The Provincial Council of Córdoba, through its Procurement Service, has opened a public information period for the project “Repair of the provincial road CP-71 ‘Del Galván’”, in Córdoba, corresponding to file number 752/2026. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 171, dated September 3, 2026, page 12832, with reference BOP-A-2026-2963.

The project, provisionally approved by Decree of the 1st Vice President and Delegated Deputy for Infrastructure, Sustainability, and Agriculture, dated August 20, 2026, is open to the public for a period of 20 business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement. The processing is carried out for all purposes, including environmental and expropriation matters.

Legal framework and issuing body

The opening of the public information period is based on Article 93 of the Recast Text of the Legal Provisions in Force regarding the Local Regime, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, in relation to Article 83.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, and Article 33 of Law 8/2001, of July 12, on Roads of Andalusia.

The document is electronically signed in Córdoba, dated August 24, 2026, by the 1st Vice President and Delegated Deputy for Infrastructure, Sustainability, and Agriculture, Andrés Lorite Lorite, and certified by the Head of the Procurement Service, Juan José Gómez Gracia.

How to participate and deadlines

During the public information period, the project may be consulted and allegations may be submitted by interested and affected parties:

• The exhibition period is 20 business days from the day following the publication in the gazette.
• The project will also be published on the Council’s transparency portal during the public information period, in accordance with Articles 7 a) and 13.1 e) of Law 1/2014, of June 24, on Public Transparency of Andalusia.
• The consultation can be carried out at the Council’s electronic headquarters, under the procedure for the public exhibition of construction projects.

Effects of the processing

The work, which is public in nature and of interest to the residents and those affected by the layout of the provincial road, contemplates expropriation effects on the land necessary for its execution, as well as the evaluation of its environmental repercussions.

In the event that no allegations are submitted, once the public information period has elapsed, the project—which until then was provisional—will be understood as definitively approved. The final resolution will therefore depend on the observations that interested parties may formulate during the exhibition period.

The repair of the CP-71 ‘Del Galván’ constitutes a relevant action for the provincial road network, as its execution will improve the safety and connectivity of a road owned by the Provincial Council of Córdoba, with a direct impact on the residents and the farms that depend on this road.
