Nineteen Aragonese companies, accredited as healthy for two years

The Aragonese Network of Healthy Companies (RAES) has accredited 19 entities from the Community as healthy companies for a period of two years. This is established by the Resolution of August 13, 2026, signed by the Director General of Public Health and the Director General of Labor, published in the Official Gazette of Aragon, number 171, of September 3, 2026 (official reference BOA20260903013).

The resolution, issued within the framework of the 2026 call, integrates the selected entities into the RAES and, at the same time, considers the applications of those who did not provide the required documentation as withdrawn and denies those of those who do not meet the required requirements.

A seal that promotes health at work

The RAES, regulated by Order EPE/219/2021, of March 15, from the Departments of Health and Economy, Planning and Employment, is an initiative of the Government of Aragon aimed at favoring the adoption of healthy lifestyles in the work environment and promoting innovation and the transfer of good practices in health promotion. To join, companies must prove that they have signed the Luxembourg Declaration, the reference framework for good management of workers’ health.

The 2026 call was opened through the Resolution of March 10, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Aragon, number 56, of March 23, 2026. Following the evaluation of the applications by the Network Coordinating Team, the competent general directorates have resolved the integration.

Withdrawals, denials, and appeals

In addition to the accreditations, the resolution considers the applications of the entities that did not provide the required documentation as withdrawn, in accordance with article 68 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure, and denies those of companies that do not meet the requirements of Order EPE/219/2021 and the call resolution.

Against the resolution, which does not exhaust administrative remedies, an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed before the Minister of Economy, Competitiveness and Employment or before the Minister of Health within one month of its publication. The document is signed by María Aitziber Lanza Goicoechea, Director General of Public Health, and Jesús Divassón Mendívil, Director General of Labor.

A boost to the Aragonese business fabric

The accreditation consolidates the Community’s commitment to extending health promotion to the workplace, with the participation of large industrial and service firms alongside SMEs and third-sector entities. For Aragonese workers, the seal represents a verifiable commitment from their companies to healthier work environments, and for the companies, a recognition that reinforces their wellbeing and social responsibility strategy.
