The Provincial Council calls for expropriations in Cambre to improve the intersection of the DP 0102

The Provincial Council of A Coruña calls for the drawing up of records prior to the occupation of assets and rights affected by the improvement of the intersection on road DP 0102, at the location of Lema a Orto, kilometer point 1+600, in the municipality of Cambre. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 190, of Monday October 5, 2026, under announcement number 2026/6376 and file 2026000016032. The affected owners must appear on October 29, 2026, between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM, at the town hall of Cambre.

The announcement is signed by the president of the Council, Valentín González Formoso, and the general secretary, Miguel Iglesias Martínez, in A Coruña on September 30, 2026, from the General Secretariat. Heritage and Contracting Service.

A work of 243,274.96 euros included in the VIPI/2025 plan

The Plenary of the Corporation, in a session held on December 22, 2025, agreed to the approval of the VIPI/2025 - PROVINCIAL ROAD INVESTMENTS, which includes the work “Improvement of intersection on DP 0102, Lema a Orto, kilometer point 1+600 (Cambre)”, with code 2025.1110.0012.0.

• Work budget (Council, own funds, application 0410/4531/60900): 243,274.96 euros.
• Estimated value of the expropriation: 30,610.32 euros.

The plan was displayed to the public via an announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 2, of January 5, 2026, without any claims being filed regarding this work.

Three owners summoned for the drawing up of records

The list of owners who must appear, with the affected properties and areas, is as follows:

• Ayuntamiento de Cambre: property 1, 5.00 square meters.
• Leticia García Chas: property 4, 155.00 square meters; temporary occupation (OT), 33.00 square meters; and 0.00 square meters in column T.
• Manuel Sánchez Suárez: property 3, 74.00 square meters; temporary occupation (OT), 26.00 square meters; and 0.00 square meters in column T.

The purpose of the act is to determine the affected rights, their value, and the damages determining the rapid occupation, without prejudice to traveling to the site of the properties if deemed necessary.

Documentation, experts, and period for allegations

Owners must attend personally or be represented by a duly authorized person, providing documents proving ownership, the National Identity Document, the Tax Identification Number Card, and the latest receipt of the Property Tax. They may be accompanied, at their own expense, by their experts and notaries.

Likewise, public information is opened for a period of fifteen calendar days, counted from the day following the publication in the Official Provincial Gazette or until the moment of the drawing up of the record prior to occupation. Allegations, aimed at correcting possible errors in the list of assets affected by the urgent occupation, shall be presented in writing to the Provincial Council (Heritage and Contracting Service), at Avenida Porto da Coruña number 2.

The call is based on article 52 of the current Forced Expropriation Law of December 16, 1954, and articles 56 and following of its Regulation, as well as article 4.1.d of Law 7/1985, article 2 of the Forced Expropriation Law, article 94 of Legislative Decree 781/1986, and article 22.5 of Law 8/2013, of July 28, on Galician Roads.

The improvement of the intersection of the DP 0102 in Lema a Orto directly affects property owners and mobility in the area, therefore the drawing up of prior records opens the procedure that will determine the compensations and allow the Provincial Council to occupy the land necessary to execute the work.
