The Provincial Council awards the Silleda pavement and tend…

The Governing Board of the Provincial Deputation of Pontevedra, meeting in an ordinary session on October 30, 2026, approved the procurement file for the works to improve pedestrian mobility on provincial road 7001 A Estrada-Forcarei, in the municipality of Forcarei, and awarded the resurfacing of the pavement on EP 6503 Silleda-Siador-Refoxos, in Silleda. The agreements, adopted unanimously, along with the awarding of the communication and tourism promotion campaign for the Rías Baixas Destination, are made public in the extracts collected in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) number 213, of November 4, 2026, with the official reference 2026076566.

The governing body and the framework of the agreements

The session was presided over by Luís López Diéguez and attended by deputies Rafael Domínguez Artime, Luisa Sánchez Méndez, Roberto José Álvarez Carrero, Juan Pablo Castillo Amigo, Jorge Cubela López, Ricardo Martínez Chantada, Manuel Alejandro Lorenzo Alonso, María Pilar Ramallo Vázquez, and Jesús Vázquez Almuíña. María Beatriz del Cerro del Río acted as secretary and Antonio Graña Gómez as comptroller.

The Governing Board unanimously resolved an agenda of 24 points, in which works and service contracts occupy the central section. The published extracts do not include the award amounts or the execution deadlines of the contracts, which are detailed in the corresponding administrative files.

Pedestrian mobility in Forcarei

The eighth point of the agreement approves the file for the award, through a simplified open procedure, of the works contract “Improvement of pedestrian mobility on E.P. 7001 A Estrada-Forcarei, from P.K. 21+910 to 22+726. Municipality of Forcarei” (File 2026057081). The action is concentrated on a stretch of slightly more than eight hundred meters of the provincial road that crosses the district of Forcarei.

Scope of the stretch: from kilometer point 21+910 to 22+726.

New pavement in Silleda

The ninth point awards the simplified open procedure convened for the work “Resurfacing of the pavement on E.P. 6503 Silleda-Siador-Refoxos, from P.K. 0+000 to P.K. 7+602. Municipality of Silleda” (File 2025071505). The contract covers slightly more than seven and a half kilometers of roadway, from the start of the provincial route to kilometer point 7+602.

The Rías Baixas tourism campaign

Item eleven awards the restricted procedure convened for the creativity and launch service of the communication and tourism promotion campaign for Destino Rías Baixas (File 2025073287). The file came from previous stages: in the session of August 28, 2026, published in BOPPO number 168 on September 2, the same Governing Board had agreed to invite proposals in this restricted procedure. The award thus closes the contracting process for the campaign.

More investment in the inland regions

In the same session, other actions of a territorial nature were resolved:

Awarding of the “Xuventude a máis” program, consisting of educational leisure workshops aimed at youth in municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants (File 2026047930).
Grant to the Concello de Gondomar for paving, storm drainage, and road safety in the neighborhoods of Atalaia and A Rocha, within the framework of the Plan +Provincia 2026-2027 (File 2026065941).
Grants to the Concello do Grove for the renovation of the Terra de Porto children’s park (File 2026065007) and the adaptation of the O Corgo square as a climate shelter (File 2026059291).
Increase in the grant to the Concello de Cerdedo-Cotobade for the expropriation project of the EL/ZV-30 green zone of the Plan +Provincia (File 2026004161).
Authorization of the reformulation of the parish road improvement project of the Concello de Lalín (File 2026025793) and the modified project for the public parking lot of Mondariz Balneario (File 2025018940).
First extension of the supply contracts for diesel B and C with the companies ESERGUI DISTESER, S.L. (Lot 1) and CARBUIBERIA ENERGÍAS, S.L. (Lot 2) (File 2025013630).
Return of the final guarantee constituted by LIMPIEZAS CÍES, S.L. (B-36147429) in the cleaning contract for provincial centers (File 2018058000).
Dismissal of two requests for compensation for patrimonial liability, one for damages to a traffic sign in Ribadumia (File 2026013713) and another for damages to a fence in Gondomar (File 2025004983).

The area of action of these agreements covers three inland regions—Tabeirós-Terra de Montes, Deza, and O Condado—along with the coast, and combines road works, municipal grants, and tourism promotion. The approval of the Forcarei file and the award in Silleda allow both interventions to move toward execution on two provincial roads that structure the daily mobility of the residents of these municipalities, while the Rías Baixas campaign adds the dimension of external projection to the provincial investment.
