Deporte concede 350.000 euros a 25 proyectos singulares de actividad física

The Directorate General for Sport has resolved the call for grants destined for the execution of singular projects in the field of sport and physical activity for the year 2026, with a global amount of 350,000 euros distributed among 25 beneficiary entities. The resolution, dated October 7, 2026, is signed by the Director General for Sport, Luis Cervera Torres, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) no. 10470, of October 14, 2026, in section III of administrative acts, with the official reference DOGV-C-2026-31967.

The grants are awarded under Order 34/2018, of August 16, of the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sport, which approves the regulatory bases (DOGV 8365, of 08.21.2018). The call was structured through the Resolution of April 16, 2026, of the Directorate General for Sport (DOGV 10347, of 04.22.2026), and the technical evaluation commission was designated by the Resolution of July 13, 2026. The funds are authorized charged to the budget application G01050408457A00, chapter IV, grant line S0497, of the Generalitat budgets for 2026.

Denials, justification and transparency

The resolution also denies the grant to a wide list of applicants, including Mira’m Fundació CV, Protección y Ayuda al Exalcohólico Apaex Torrevieja, Fundación Intercity, Fundación Asindown, Fundación Mundo 21 and several city councils such as those of Gandia, Dénia, Foios, Moixent or Torreblanca. The reasons are referred to sections 1.1, 1.2, 6.2 and 13.5 of Order 34/2018.

Beneficiary entities must justify the aid before October 31, 2026, preferably electronically through the Generalitat’s headquarters (procedure id_proc=19796), and comply with the active publicity obligations provided for in Law 19/2013 and Law 1/2022 when they exceed the thresholds of 100,000, 50,000 or 5,000 euros as the case may be. The resolution ends the administrative route: an optional appeal for reversal may be filed within one month or a contentious-administrative appeal before the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community within two months.

The distribution consolidates regional support for inclusive, women’s and grassroots sports: more than half of the type A funds go to clubs, federations and local entities that work with people with disabilities, the elderly or groups at risk of exclusion, while small municipalities and associations of municipalities reinforce their role as promoters of healthy physical activity in the territory.
