Deltebre definitively approves the taxes for the music school and nursery

The Deltebre City Council has finalized the modification of fiscal ordinance number 24, which regulates non-tax public heritage benefits for the provision of music school and nursery school services. The decision was made public through two edicts signed by the acting secretary, David Torres Fabra, dated August 31, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on September 1, 2026.

The modification directly affects families using these two municipal services and sets the rates that will be applied during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Approval without objections

The files were open to the public during the legally established period through edicts published in the BOPT on July 17, 2026 (references CVE 2026-06781 and CVE 2026-06782) and on the municipal electronic notice board. As no objections or claims were filed against the initial approval, the modification is considered definitively approved, and the final text is presented for general knowledge.

The official documents containing the approved text are:

• CVE 2026-08194, annex 2, regarding the provision of the music school service (pp. 1-3).
• CVE 2026-08195, annex 3, regarding the provision of the nursery school service (pp. 1-2).

Music school rates

Annex 2 sets the amounts to be paid as a heritage benefit for the music school service, with an enrollment fee of €80.00/year for first-time students and €40.00/year for continuing students. Monthly classes are distributed by level:

• Stimulation and awareness: €30.00/month.
• Initiation: €50.00/month.
• Basic and advanced learning: €66.00/month.
• Intermediate level: €86.00/month.
• In-depth study: €70.00/month.
• Adults: €76.00/month.
• Solo instrument: €58.00/month.
• Complementary instrument: €49.00/month.

The ordinance provides for a 20% reduction in all amounts for persons who prove they are retired or pensioners, provided they do not receive a grant or subsidy covering the total or partial cost.

Nursery school rates

Annex 3 establishes the rates for the 2026-2027 academic year for the nursery school service, with the full-time educational service set at €185.42, the morning half-day at €153.46, and the afternoon half-day at €154.52. The educational service for I2 infants on a full-time basis is free.

The remaining complementary services are priced as follows:

• Morning/afternoon childcare (1 hour): €34.81.
• Morning/midday childcare (30 minutes): €17.93.
• Sporadic childcare (1 hour): €4.11.
• Monthly lunchbox dining: €117.60.
• Sporadic lunchbox dining: €8.23.
• Annual enrollment: €155.57.

Validity of the rates

The amounts will have annual validity and will remain valid until the corresponding modification of the ordinance is approved. This final approval provides legal certainty to the families of Deltebre, who are already aware of the economic conditions of the municipal educational services for the next school year, and consolidates the regulatory framework of the financial benefits of the #DeltebreEficient area.
