Por FactBox Admin

The Ministry of Defense has formalized the acquisition of 160 LANDTREK off-road vehicles from ITURRI SA for 11,995,680 euros. The award, dated 10 August 2026, was resolved by the Economic Affairs Office of the Army Logistics Support Command and is published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of Friday, 14 August 2026, with reference BOE-B-2026-26948.

The formalization notice appears in Section V-A of the BOE (Announcements, public sector contracting), No. 199, pages 43648 and 43649, and corresponds to file 2026/ETSAE0906/00003727E. The contracting authority (NIF S2800811H), attached to the Army Logistics Support Command and headquartered at Calle Prim 4-6, Madrid, acted as a state authority in the field of defense and processed the procedure as a negotiated procedure, specifying that the contract is part of the establishment of a framework agreement.

The operation, detail by detail

The subject matter of the contract is the acquisition of 160 four-wheel drive vehicles (CPV code 34113000), with delivery planned in Madrid (NUTS code ES300). The essential data included in the notice are:

  • Amount of the selected bid: 11,995,680.00 euros.
  • File: 2026/ETSAE0906/00003727E.
  • Award date: 10 August 2026.
  • Procedure: negotiated procedure under a framework agreement.
  • Place of delivery: Madrid (ES300).
  • CPV: 34113000 (four-wheel drive vehicles).
  • Date of dispatch of the notice: 11 August 2026.

A single bidder and the weight of Spanish industry

The contract has been awarded to ITURRI SA, a Spanish company with NIF A41050113, which was the only company to participate: the notice reflects a single offer received and none from SMEs. This formalization adds to other operations with this model published this year in the BOE by the same office, such as the acquisition and militarization of 100 Landtrek base vehicles and the purchase of two single cabs, both in March, or the militarization of 106 base units, formalized in April.

Appeals and signature of the notice

As the competent body for appeal procedures, the notice designates the Central Administrative Court for Contractual Appeals (TACRC), headquartered at Avenida General Perón 38, Madrid. The document, sent on 11 August 2026, is signed in Madrid by the Head of the Economic Affairs Office of the Army Logistics Support Command, Joaquín Javier González del Castillo.

Impact for the sector

The operation consolidates the presence of the LANDTREK in the Spanish Army units and represents a significant order for ITURRI SA, a Spanish defense and security company, in a year in which the BOE has been recording successive contract formalizations for this vehicle. In addition to providing materiel to the units, the publication of the notice guarantees transparency and control of a contract awarded by negotiated procedure within a framework agreement, subject to appeal before the TACRC.
