The [entity/body] approves the guidelines for grants for schooling, books, and school supplies

The Local Government Board of the Das City Council has initially approved the specific regulatory bases for the granting of aid for schooling expenses, books, and school supplies. The agreement was adopted in an ordinary session on September 28, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona no. 191, dated October 5, 2026, under edict number 8474 and official reference BOP-2026_0_191_8474. The text is now subject to a public information period of twenty business days.

The bases are framed within the Subsidy Ordinance of the Das City Council, approved by the Municipal Plenary and published in the BOP of Girona no. 240 on December 19, 2017. Its processing is governed by article 124.2 of Decree 179/1995, of June 13, which approves the Regulation of works, activities, and services of local entities, and by article 13 of the same ordinance.

Public information and submission of allegations

The public exhibition period is twenty business days starting from the day after the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, that is, from October 6, 2026. During this period, interested parties may examine the file and the full text of the bases and formulate any allegations or claims they deem appropriate.

The enabled channels for consultation are:

• Electronically, through the download link published at the citizen service office of the Das City Council.
• In person, at the municipal offices, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

If no allegation or claim is presented during the public information period, the initial approval agreement will become final without the need to adopt a new express agreement.

Indefinite validity for future calls

One of the highlighted elements of the agreement is the temporal scope of the bases. The text establishes that they will have indefinite validity as long as they are not expressly modified or repealed. This will allow them to be applied to all annual calls that the Local Government Board approves under its umbrella, both within the same year and in subsequent years.

In this way, the council avoids having to re-process the bases for each call and has a stable framework to grant aid intended to cover expenses linked to schooling, the acquisition of books, and school supplies.

Scope of the measure

The aid is addressed to families with schooled children and covers three types of expenses:

• Schooling expenses.
• Textbooks.
• School supplies.

The initial approval corresponds to the Local Government Board, while the framework ordinance regulating the procedure was approved by the Plenary. The announcement is signed by the mayor of Das, Enric Laguarda Pons, with an electronic signature date of September 30, 2026.

The publication opens the countdown so that families and any interested party can review the text before it becomes final. Once the deadline closes without objections, the guidelines will remain permanently in effect and will serve as the basis for future school aid calls in the municipality, providing continuity and predictability to the financial support for families with school-age children.
