Daimiel rectifica el listado de aspirantes a cinco plazas de Policía Local

The Daimiel City Council has rectified the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the selection process for five Local Police positions via open competition, after noticing errors in the composition of the list approved days earlier. The correction is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real on October 21, 2026, under announcement number 3398, and reopens the period for excluded applicants to remedy their defects or file any claims they deem appropriate.

The call for applications is governed by the bases approved by Mayoral Decree No. 2026/755, dated August 26, 2026, which established the provision via open competition of five positions in the Local Police Corps within the Special Administration Scale, Special Services Subscale, Local Police class, Basic Scale, Police category, group C, subgroup C1.

The first provisional list was approved by Mayoral Decree No. 2026/915, dated October 16, 2026, and published in BOP number 201, dated October 19, 2026, under announcement number 3362, signed by Mayor Leopoldo J. Sierra Gallardo. Having noticed the error in the composition of that list, the City Council has issued a new resolution, signed on October 20, which entirely replaces the previous one.

A list of 126 admitted and 55 excluded

The rectified list, which spans several pages of the provincial gazette, increases the number of provisionally admitted applicants to 126 and sets the excluded at 55, with an express indication of the causes motivating each exclusion.

Among the changes detected relative to the October 19 list is that of CARRASCOSA MARTÍNEZ, MARÍA TERESA, who moves from the excluded list to the admitted list. The new composition also incorporates SANCHEZ MARTINEZ, OSCAR among the admitted and adds GARCIA GARCIA, DAVID and VALLEJO VALLEJO, JULIA to the excluded list.

The decree orders the publication of the rectified list in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real, on the Digital Edicts Board of the Daimiel City Council, and on the municipal website (www.daimiel.es), stating the causes for exclusion for the knowledge of the interested parties.

Seven typified reasons for exclusion

The list enumerates the documentary defects that justify the provisional exclusion, such that each applicant appears with the code or codes that affect them:

  • 1. Does not provide the application for selection tests and/or provides it unsigned.
  • 2. Does not provide ID (DNI).
  • 3. Does not provide a Class B driver’s license.
  • 4. Does not provide a Class A or A2 driver’s license.
  • 5. Does not provide the required qualification.
  • 6. Does not provide proof of payment and/or provides proof with an incorrect amount.
  • 7. Expired Class A or A2 driver’s license.

Most of the exclusions are due to the lack of several documents at once; the cases with the most accumulated reasons are those of BELTRÁN MOZAS, MANUEL ANDRÉS and SEPULVEDA RUIZ, ALEJANDRO, with six causes each.

Ten business days to remedy

The decree grants provisionally excluded applicants a period of ten business days, counting from the day following the publication of the resolution, to remedy the defects that led to their exclusion or to submit any allegations they deem appropriate, in accordance with section 4.1 of the regulatory bases. With the publication in the BOP on October 21, this period ends on November 4, 2026.

The text specifies that corrections already registered with reference to the previous list have been incorporated into the file, so interested parties who have already submitted them do not need to duplicate them.

The correction directly affects the process calendar: applicants who were left out on October 19 have a new window to complete their documentation, while those who appeared as admitted must verify that they remain on the list. Furthermore, the rectified list is the reference upon which allegations will be resolved and the final list of admitted and excluded candidates will be approved, a preliminary step before the competitive examination tests are held.
