Daimiel expands generational renewal grants with 2,400 euros per successor
Por FactBox Admin

The Daimiel City Council has extended the period for formalizing the transfer of businesses that grants access to generational relief grants, which maintain an amount of 2,400 euros per successor. The Local Government Board approved the agreement on October 19, 2026, and the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real publishes it in issue number 205, dated October 23, 2026, under announcement number 3431 and reference BDNS 894627.
The original call was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 58, dated March 25, 2026, and the agreement now disseminated does not replace it, but rather corrects three of its sections. The extract is disseminated in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, and the full text can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database.
Two more months of leeway to close the transfer
The central change affects Base 3, relating to the beneficiaries. Where it was previously required that the contract or pre-agreement for the transfer of the business be formalized in writing between November 1, 2025, and October 31, 2026, the period now begins on September 1, 2025, and retains the same closing date.
The modification is replicated in Base 5, regarding the conditions of the holders involved. The acquiring holder of the business must prove that they have formalized the assignment or transfer agreement with the transferor within this new window, which gains two months at the starting end.
In practice, the amendment allows for the inclusion of operations already closed during the autumn of 2025 that were excluded by the original wording, without altering the other requirements or the application calendar.
2,400 euros to the successor in twelve monthly installments
Base 8, dedicated to the amount of the aid, is also tweaked, although only to adjust the temporal reference. The grant remains a non-repayable aid of 2,400.00 euros to the successor, at a rate of 200.00 euros per month, for the 12 months following the date of transfer.
The requirement is that this transfer has been formally carried out within the extended period, that is, between September 1, 2025, and October 31, 2026. Therefore, the amount does not vary from the March call.
Competitive bidding for freelancers and micro-enterprises
The purpose of the bases is to regulate the competitive bidding procedure for granting non-repayable aid intended to encourage generational replacement and promote the continuity of economic initiatives. The recipients are self-employed workers and micro-enterprises that transfer their business activity within the municipality of Daimiel.
The agreement includes a maintenance clause: in everything not expressly modified, the provisions of the initial call for applications of March 25, 2026, along with its annexes, remain in effect.

- Eligible transfer period: from September 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026.
- Amount: 2,400 euros per relief worker, in monthly payments of 200 euros for one year.
The extension arrives with the closing deadline in sight and expands the margin for those who have already completed the transfer of a business in Daimiel, a group for whom the contract formalization date was the main obstacle to accessing the 2,400 euros. Interested parties must verify that their operation fits within the new window and that the remaining conditions of the March guidelines continue to be met.
