Dénia publishes admitted and excluded candidates for technical civil engineer

The Dénia City Council has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante (no. 174, September 14, 2026) the provisional list of admitted and excluded persons, as well as the appointment of the qualifying board, for the selection process to fill one position for Public Works Technical Engineer corresponding to the 2023 OEP. The call is processed through a competition-examination system with a internship period and via the open shift.

The announcement, signed by the delegated Department, is issued in compliance with the fourth clause of the specific bases, the extract of which was published in BOP no. 137, July 23, 2026. The deadline for submitting applications ended on August 27, 2026, and the bases were made available to interested parties on the municipal platform CONVOCA (denia.convoca.online).

Provisional list of admitted and excluded persons

The resolution approves the provisional list of applicants, with a total of five admitted persons and two excluded. The admitted persons are:

• Nuria Alonso García
• Daniel Benvenido Alonso Pons
• Mónica Bixquert Turleque
• Francesc Miralles Merino
• Beatriz Montes Unanue

The excluded persons, with the reason for exclusion indicated, are:

• María Isabel Castro Hernández — reason 2 (does not certify C1 level of Valencian).
• Ausias Roselló Lloret — reason 1 (does not certify the required qualification).

Composition of the qualifying board

In accordance with the fifth clause of the specific bases, the board that will evaluate the process is appointed, consisting of technical personnel from the city council itself and from other municipalities:

• President: titular, Eva Gloria Andrade Bañuls (A2), Public Works Technical Engineer of Dénia; substitute, Daniel Marcelino Ruiz Marín (A2).
• Secretary: titular, Anna Carrió Sesé (A1); substitute, Luís Jaime Martí Vives (A1).
• Members: Juan Bautista Hernández Puig (A2) and Nuria Romero (A2), with substitutes José Sastre Roig and Vicente Francisco Caravaca Roselló; Carolina López Bolufer (A1) and Mónica Puig Faus (A2), with substitutes Sara Ivars Mengual (A1) and Luisa Clemente (A2).

Deadline for claims and corrections

Pursuant to the fourth clause, a period of 10 business days from the publication of the provisional list is granted to submit claims, correct remediable deficiencies, and allege grounds for abstention or recusal of the board members. Claims shall be submitted through the municipal electronic office, and the correction of access requirements shall be formalized on the CONVOCA platform within the same period.

After that period, the Mayor’s Office-Presidency will issue a resolution approving the final list, which will be published in the BOP of Alicante and, for informational purposes, on the municipal platform and the notice board. In the same act, the day, time, and place of the first exercise will be designated, which will take place within a period of no less than fifteen business days from the publication.

Relevance of the call

This resolution represents a decisive step in filling a key technical position for the maintenance of infrastructure and public works in Dénia, within the stabilization framework of the 2023 OEP. The publication of the final list and the calendar for the first exercise will mark the effective start of the competitive examination phase for the admitted applicants.
