Cultura concede 749.000 euros en ayudas a profesionales y empresas culturales asturianas

The Regional Ministry of Culture, Linguistic Policy and Sport of the Principality of Asturias has granted subsidies for a total amount of 749,000.00 euros to professionals and companies for the execution of cultural projects and training and mobility actions for the year 2026. The resolution, signed on October 7, 2026, by the regional minister Ana Vanesa Gutiérrez González, is published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) no. 200, of October 15, 2026, under reference Code 2026-08291, and covers lines 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 of the call.

The call was approved by Resolution of April 28, 2026, of the Regional Ministry of Culture, Linguistic Policy and Sport (extract published in BOPA no. 85, of May 6, 2026), and its regulatory bases derive from the Resolution of June 29, 2022, of the then Regional Ministry of Culture, Linguistic Policy and Tourism (BOPA no. 129, of July 6, 2022). The Strategic Subsidy Plan 2026-2028, approved by Resolution of February 4, 2026, includes the allocation in its Annex I, and the expenditure is charged to budget application 21.02.455G.472.002 of the General Budgets of the Principality of Asturias for 2026.

The Evaluation Commission, appointed by Resolution of August 6, 2026 (BOPA no. 160, of August 19, 2026), assessed the applications at its meeting on September 9, 2026. The provisional proposal was posted on the electronic headquarters notice board from September 10, with a 10-calendar-day period for appeals that expired on September 21. Line 4, regarding audiovisual and cinema aid, was processed independently and previously.

Distribution by aid lines

Annex I of the resolution details the grants, with these totals per line:

  • Line 1, performing arts: 170,000.00 €
  • Line 2, book sector: 110,000.00 €
  • Line 3, music: 204,000.00 €
  • Line 5, visual arts: 157,833.79 €
  • Line 6, video games and augmented reality: 90,000.00 €
  • Line 7, training: 17,166.21 €

Among the beneficiaries are Yuju Gestión Cultural, S. L., Zig Zag Danza, S. L., Saltantes Teatro, S. L., Ediciones Trabe, S. L., Hoja de Lata Editorial, S. L., Satori Ediciones, S. L., Santo Grial Producciones, S. L., Llamazarez Galería, S. L., Nimula Event Tech, S. L., Nimby Eventos, S. L., Edise Soluciones, S. L., and Datatron Fium, S. L., among others.

Accepted appeals and corrected errors

Following the hearing process, the Commission accepted several appeals in its supplementary minutes of September 22, 2026:

  • Isabel Marcos Fernández (AYUD/2026/81142) obtained 83 points after the review of sub-sections C1 and C3, a score insufficient compared to the cutoff mark of 85 points.
  • Teatro del Norte, S. L. (AYUD/2026/81198) added 5 points in criterion C3 and reached 71 points, also below the cutoff.
  • Saltantes Teatro, S. L. (AYUD/2026/86428) had the project budget corrected from 4,400 to 44,000 euros, with a final grant of €8,946.20.
  • Sergio Gayol Gonzalo (AYUD/2026/94725) was incorporated ex officio with €13,350.00 for the Teatro del Cuervo 2026 tour, as his application had been omitted; line 1 increased from 26 to 27 applications.

Two errors in the provisional proposal for line 3 were also corrected ex officio: the grant to Santo Grial Producciones, S. L. (AYUD/2026/81493) is set at €6,525.63 and not €5,075.00, and the third grant to Humo Intl, S. L. U. (AYUD/2026/86422) for €1,450.63 is not applicable. Additionally, several beneficiary tax identification numbers (NIF) were amended.

Reformulations, denials, and deadlines

The reformulation of projects for Nebra Eventos, S. L. (AYUD/2026/82410), Nimula Event Tech, S. L. (AYUD/2026/53333), Nimby Eventos, S. L. (AYUD/2026/53335) and Instituto Tecnológico de Barredo, S. L. (Inteba) (AYUD/2026/53338) was authorized. In contrast, the appeals from Alicia Álvarez Sanguino (AYUD/2026/82456) and Guillermina Caicoya Gómez Morán (AYUD/2026/81667) were dismissed, the latter maintaining €5,443.44 for the Art Brussels fair.

Annex II lists the denials, mostly motivated by the limitation of the budget allocation and the priority of projects of greater interest. Beneficiaries must justify the grant in accordance with section XV of the regulatory bases, with a deadline ending on November 1, 2026; failure to provide justification results in the automatic loss of the right to payment. An administrative appeal may be filed against the resolution before the Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of the Principality of Asturias within two months, or a request for reversal before the counselor within one month.

The resolution closes the distribution of nearly three-quarters of a million euros among the Asturian cultural fabric, from performing arts companies and publishers to galleries, music labels, and video game studios. The document also sets the final amounts following the appeals, making it the decisive reference for beneficiaries to plan the execution and justification of their projects before November 1.
