Cucalón makes the municipal cemetery fee definitive

The Entity of Cucalón has finalized the modification of the Fiscal Ordinance Regulating the Municipal Cemetery Fee, setting the price for permanent niches and graves at 1,060 euros and for columbariums at 560 euros. The agreement, adopted by the Plenary on July 1, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel number 163, dated August 27, 2026, under reference No. 2026-2511.
As no claims were filed during the public exhibition period, the provisional plenary agreement was automatically finalized, in compliance with Article 17.4 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5.
New cemetery rates
The ordinance, the full text of which is made public for general knowledge, establishes the following rates in its Article 2, regarding bases and rates:
- Permanent niches for a single body: 1,060 euros.
- Permanent grave for a single body: 1,060 euros.
- Permanent columbariums: 560 euros.
These amounts represent a direct cost for the families of the municipality who contract these funeral services and are permanently fixed in the current fiscal ordinance.
Regulatory framework and appeals
The modification is processed in accordance with local government regulations, which require the full publication of the text of the ordinance once the public exhibition process has been completed without objections. An administrative appeal may be filed against the agreement before the Administrative Litigation Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Aragon, within a period of two months starting from the day following the publication of the announcement, in accordance with Article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, on Administrative Litigation Jurisdiction.
