Extraordinary credit of 2,436 euros for the Las Tres Torres Water Association

The Las Tres Torres Water Association (Mancomunidad de Aguas Las Tres Torres) has definitively approved the credit modification file no. 1/2026 of the current Budget, in the form of an extraordinary credit financed by the Treasury Surplus for general expenses, for a total amount of 2,436.00 euros. The agreement was adopted by the entity’s governing board on July 3, 2026, and its definitive approval is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres number 0171, dated September 7, 2026 (official reference BOP-2026-4201).

As no allegations were presented during the public exhibition process, the file is considered definitively approved and is published for general knowledge, in accordance with the provisions of article 169.1, by referral of 179.4, of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5.

The destination of the funds

The extraordinary credit is distributed between two budgetary applications of the expenditure state, both without initial allocation, which are enabled by this modification:

• Application 920/151.00 — Gratifications for performance of functions under an accumulation regime: 2,136.00 euros.
• Application 912/100.00 — Basic remuneration of the members of the governing bodies: 300.00 euros.
• Total credit supplement: 2,436.00 euros.

The financing of the operation

The modification is fully financed with the association’s own resources, without resorting to debt or external transfers:

• Chapter 8, article 7, concept 0 — Treasury surplus for general expenses: 2,436.00 euros.
• Total income: 2,436.00 euros.

In this way, the entity’s budget remains balanced, as the increase in expenditure is offset by the availability of accumulated treasury.

Appeal period

An administrative-law appeal may be filed against the agreement before the Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Extremadura, based in Cáceres, within a period of two months starting from the day of the publication of the announcement, in accordance with article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating the Administrative-Law Jurisdiction. However, and according to article 171.3 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, the filing of the appeal shall not by itself suspend the effectiveness of the contested agreement.

Relevance for readers

The approval of this extraordinary credit allows the Mancomunidad de Aguas Las Tres Torres to regularize the payment of bonuses for functions under an accumulation regime and the basic remuneration of its governing bodies, guaranteeing the continuity of the management of the joint water service.
