Covaleda announces competitive examinations for two multi-service laborer positions

The Covaleda City Council has published the final list of applicants admitted to the call to fill, under a permanent employment regime, two vacant positions for multi-service laborers in the municipality. The resolution, signed by Mayor José Llorente Alonso on August 19, 2026, is disseminated in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria number 98, dated August 24, 2026 (page 2900), with reference BOPSO-98-24082026.

As there are no candidates definitively excluded, the final list consists of 11 applicants, who must pass a competitive examination phase composed of two exercises. The call is processed in accordance with Article 20 of the General Regulations for the Admission of Personnel to the Service of the General State Administration, approved by Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10.

Calendar of Exercises

The first exercise of the competitive phase, a multiple-choice test, will begin on September 3, 2026, at 09:00 hours at the City Council offices, located on the first floor of Plaza Mayor, nº 1 in Covaleda. Applicants must bring their identification documentation.

On the same day, at 10:00 hours, the second exercise will be held, consisting of three practical tests related to the tasks of the position, at the municipal warehouse known as Matadero, located in Polígono 2, Parcela 310 in Covaleda. Those who do not have a vehicle for transport may report this on the same day at the municipal offices to organize transportation.

Appeals

Against the resolution, which ends the administrative route, interested parties may file a claim within two months before the Social Court of Soria or, at their choice, the one corresponding to their residence, attaching a copy of the denial resolution or a document proving the filing of the appeal, pursuant to Article 69.2 of Law 36/2011, of October 10, regulating Social Jurisdiction.

The call represents an opportunity for stable public employment in a municipality of the Pinares region, with two permanent positions to be filled through a competitive examination system. The eleven admitted candidates face a double test on September 3 that combines theoretical knowledge and practical skills, in a process that strengthens the multi-services staff of the Covaleda City Council.
