The Supreme Court of Justice authorized 22 professionals to practice the legal profession in all its branches, through agreements published in the Official Gazette on October 6, 2026 (Volume No. 453), in the Judicial Branch section, pages 6 to 11. The agreements, numbered from 1121-D to 1864-D, state that each applicant complied with all legal requirements and obtained a favorable resolution in their file.

L. Jerez, Castillo, J. Climaco V., E. Quint. A., R. C. C. E., J. F. M. G., M. E. M. C., and V. A. R. R.— and pronounced by Julia I. del Cid.

Nineteen agreements dated August 28

Nineteen of the 22 agreements are dated August 28, 2026, while the remaining three correspond to May 29 (1121-D), June 25 (1314-D), and July 30 (1613-D). The interval between the resolution of the file and the issuance of the agreement reaches nearly three months in cases such as 1794-D, resolved on June 11 and published on August 28, and 1807-D, resolved on June 4.

The bulletin summary lists the 22 numbers under the heading “Authorizations to practice the legal profession in all its branches,” within the first publication section of the Judicial Branch department. Each agreement refers to the respective file processed before the Court and the internal records of the Secretariat.

Notaries reinstated in the same bulletin

In the same section, the General Secretariat of the Supreme Court of Justice published agreements 1925-D and 1926-D, both dated September 23, 2026, which declare the end of the suspensions imposed on the exercise of the public function of the notary for Gerber Ulises Méndez Molina (disciplinary file D-889-23) and Wendy Odily Hernández de Orellana (D-1001-22). Both names are included in the permanent roster of notaries, effective as of September 23, 2026, and it was ordered to notify all courts and public registries in the country.

The authorization of these 22 lawyers expands the available legal representation in the country and enables the professionals to act in any branch of law, with immediate effects for their clients and for the courts where they litigate. The publication in the Official Gazette is the act that provides public certainty of the authorization and allows courts, notary offices, and registries to verify the status of each licensed professional.
