Corrección de errores excluye a dos aspirantes de once plazas

The Provincial Council of Badajoz has corrected the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the call to fill eleven positions of Administrative Management Technician, under an internal promotion scheme, such that two candidates who appeared as admitted are now excluded. The rectification is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 186, dated September 29, 2026, via Announcement 3803/2026. The resolution is signed by the president by delegation, the third vice-president and delegated deputy of the Functional Area of Public Employees, Occupational Health and Safety, Ramón Díaz Farias.

The two affected applicants

The error was detected in Announcement 3743/2026, published in gazette number 185 on September 28, 2026, just one day prior. In that provisional list, the following people appeared as admitted:

  • Jiménez Bayón, Santiago José
  • Telo Rodríguez, Borja

Both must appear as excluded for failing to comply with the third-a) basis of the call, according to the text made public by the Functional Area of Public Employees, Occupational Health and Safety. The announcement is limited to recording the rectification “for general knowledge,” without adding further modifications to the list.

A call for eleven internal promotion positions

The call corresponds to eleven (11) vacant positions for Administrative Management Technician civil servants, categorized within the General Administration scale, Management sub-scale, group A, subgroup A2, and is resolved by free turn through a competitive examination process under an internal promotion scheme. The bases were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz on June 9, 2026, with an extract in the Official State Gazette on June 17, 2026.

The decree that approved the provisional list was issued under article 61, section 12, of Royal Decree 2568/1986, of November 28, which approves the Regulation of Organization, Operation, and Legal Regime of Local Entities.

Effect on the provisional list

With the correction, the list of admitted persons goes from 21 to 19, while the list of excluded persons rises from 5 to 7. The five exclusions already recorded in the announcement of September 28 are:

  • Borrero Delicado, Luisa
  • García Bermejo Martín, Francisco Javier
  • Nieto del Amo, Melani
  • Piris Galiano, Miriam
  • Regaña Pérez, Lucia

All of them, as well as the two newly excluded, do not comply with the third-a) basis of the call. The list contains personal data and its sole purpose is to publicize this phase of the selection procedure and, where applicable, notify those participating.

Correction period and electronic means

The original announcement set a correction period of ten business days starting from the day following its publication in the provincial bulletin. The correction must be carried out electronically via the corporate electronic office of the Diputación de Badajoz, through the procedure “Correction of the application for admission to selective tests,” attaching the appropriate documentation according to the cause of exclusion. If the requirement is not met within the deadline, the interested parties will be considered to have withdrawn their application.

The publication is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The rectification directly alters the position of the two affected candidates, who lose their status as admitted in a selection process for eleven positions and have a very tight margin to react. For the rest of the applicants, the list is reduced to 19 admitted, which modifies the expected competition in the competitive examination phase.
