Por FactBox Admin

The Coria del Río City Council has opened the public information process regarding the specific, individualized, and valued list of owners and assets that must be expropriated to execute the roundabout providing access to Fuerteventura Street from the A-8058 highway. The announcement, signed by the mayor-president Modesto González Márquez, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 215, dated November 6, 2026, under reference BOP-SE-2026-215008. Interested parties have a period of 20 business days to submit allegations.
The basic agreement was adopted by the City Council Plenary in an ordinary session on September 3, 2026, when it initially approved both the works project and the list of assets to be expropriated. The entire file is processed under reference 2026/URB_01/000008, which must be included in any written communication addressed to the Council.
A single owner and 227.83 square meters
The published list affects a single owner and a single plot, located on rural land within the municipality of Coria del Río.
- Owner: Miguel Sánchez García.
- Cadastral reference: 41034A015000330000MT.
- Location: polygon 15, plot 33.
- Cadastral area: 1,348.00 m².
- Area subject to expropriation: 227.83 m², on rural land.
According to the Works and Services Plan processed in parallel, the approximate valuation of this expropriation amounts to 300.70 euros, an amount fully provided for in the 2026 annual budget.
A 359,399.91 euro project
The work motivating the expropriation is the project “Construction of a Roundabout on the A-8058 Highway, for Access to Fuerteventura Street,” drafted by Fernando Peraita Lechosa, Civil Engineer, in December 2025, with an annex from March 2026. Its budget amounts to 359,399.91 euros.
The Municipal Works and Services Plan, drafted by the municipal architect Miguel Becerra García in March 2026, distributes the investment over two annual periods: 59,899.985 euros in 2026 and 299,499.925 euros in 2027. The plenary agreement that approved this plan implicitly includes the declaration of public utility for the purposes of compulsory expropriation, and works cannot begin until the City Council possesses all the affected land.
Twenty business days and two consultation channels
The period for allegations is 20 business days, counting from the day following the last of the regulatory publications: the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville, a high-circulation newspaper, and the municipal electronic notice board.
The documentation can be examined at:
- The Urban Planning administrative unit, at 69 Cervantes Street in Coria del Río, from 9:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday, except holidays.
- The City Council’s electronic notice board.
- The Municipal Transparency Portal, accessible from the municipal website (www.ayto-coriadelrio.es) via the “Links of interest” icon and the “Public information procedures” section.
Claims and allegations must be addressed to the Coria del Río City Council with reference to file 2026/URB_01/000008. The announcement reminds that, pursuant to Article 18 of the Compulsory Expropriation Law of December 16, 1954, affected parties may provide written data to rectify errors in the list or formulate an opposition, for reasons of substance or form, to the need for occupation, indicating the reasons why they consider the occupation of other assets preferable. Furthermore, Article 18.3 of the Regulation of said law allows any person, natural or legal, to appear to correct errors in the material and legal description of the assets.
Impact for residents
The publication opens the formal channel for the affected owner to review the area and valuation of their plot and, if applicable, challenge the need for occupation before the City Council closes the expropriation and can tender the work. For the rest of the residents, the announcement confirms the schedule for an action of 359,399.91 euros intended to improve access from the A-8058 to Fuerteventura Street, conditional upon the prior release of the land.
